The FBI is probing past legal work done by Texas gubernatorial candidate Wendy Davis, according to a report her Republican opponent’s campaign calls a “bombshell.”

The Dallas Morning News reported Friday that documents “related to Sen. Wendy Davis’ work as a lawyer for the North Texas Tollway Authority are part of an FBI inquiry of the agency.”

The news outlet said it’s unclear how much this investigation revolves around Davis, the Democratic nominee for governor.

Democratic Corruption, Are they outing it all now, months before the midterms? -- Michelle Malkin (she suggests that the other shoe is going to drop as an October surprise).

"There appears to be something afoot at the FBI. They have arrested something on the order of five Democratic politicians in the last two months. I’d think this behavior would be a career killer. Also, it seems unlikely the DOJ will prosecute. Oh, DOJ might pretend to prosecute Yee, but he’d probably get an 11th hour pardon. One wonders why they’re risking their careers."

IMHO, there's no career risk here. They're just getting the democrat investigations out of the way in the springtime of an election year. The GOP investigation details will be leaked or released in September/October...

What’s the difference between Abortion Barbie and a 747?

Not everyone has been on a 747.

She failed far too fast and early.

I’d hoped her campaign would be a sinkhole for national progressive campaign cash that might otherwise go to close races.

Looks like it’s not gonna happen.
