I knew a lot of whites caught with the white powder in the early to mid 80’s, and; if tried in 90 days they got no bond.

Basil Fawlty once said of one of their guests...”a satisfied guest,we should have him stuffed”.Today I’ll say “a lawyer with ethics,we should have him stuffed”.

Why did he even stay on THIS long? Has it not been obvious from the beginning BO and Eric the Red are commies?

This is like Castro emptying his jails in 1980 and sending his criminal element tgo the country he hates—the United States. Obama is doing the same thing, releasing criminals into a country he hates....the same one Castro hates.

Feds shouldn't be involved at all. Police powers are reserved to the States under the Constitution.

You are correct. And with the draconian sentences for most crimes, almost everyone takes a plea deal with means in addition to being unconstitutional, it is totally unjust.

“It’s part of the president’s effort to end racial discrimination”.....

Releasing those drug dealers IS a racist act since MOST OF THEM are black, he knows it and we know it.

I would love to see the ratio of blacks to whites that are released. (I don’t expect to see those figures as publishing them would certainly be RACIST)

I agree. The mandatory minimum was a stupid program.

Which shows that using the Federal government to implement conservative or liberal points of view is always a losing strategy. The neocons just have not figured out what the paleocons always knew.

Thanks jazusamo.
As head of the DOJ’s Pardons Office Rodgers clashed with the Obama administration over a controversial plan to release -- or reduce the sentences of -- convicted drug offenders. It’s part of the president’s effort to end racial discrimination in drug-related sentences. It started with the 2010 signing of a law (Fair Sentencing Act) that for the first time in decades relaxed drug-crime sentences he claims discriminate against minority offenders. The measure severely weakens a decades-old law enacted during the infamous crack cocaine epidemic that ravaged urban communities nationwide in the 1980s. But the Fair Sentencing Act is not retroactive so the president launched a broad plan this month to help those sentenced under the older, stricter law...

A jury convicted these people. What right does Holder have to throw out out jury system?

One more totalitarian move...

It seems that’s exactly what 0bama/Holders Injustice Dept is going to do.

In past administrations the AG assigned attorneys to DOJ departments to prosecute crime but the current one assigns dozens of new attorneys to its pardon office to give clemency to somewhere between 10,000 - 20,000 convicted criminals.

With the turkeys running this show it’s not surprising.

Please don’t do that. Chewbacca is now loved by the Kansans because she moved her speech to some sort of senior awards program. I don’t like her, but let’s not be misleading, even if what you said is true.

Can they make it any more obvious that we are being run by drug cartels ?

“Now, I’m not saying that you can assume unproven crimes, but drug abusers are NOT little angels.”

Umm, you just assumed that right there in your post, it’s the main thrust of your argument.

Obama forgets that these people sold a product and didn’t pay sales taxes on it, nor did they declare it as income on their federal taxes.

“For our criminal justice system to be effective, it needs to not only be fair; but it also must be perceived as being fair,”

That statement is mind-bogglingly stupid. Perception is not the equal of fact, except to a liberal.
