“Don’t commit crimes”

Wow, never thought of that.

Hey, I’m glad they still recognize the concept of citizenship. I expect the government will start calling us “documented residents” soon.

I didn’t check the link, but I’m guessing they are asking the fans not to burn down the city in “celebration” after winning the game

When you excerpt, there is no need to post a tease that requires somebody to go to the article. You could have just as easily posted the the actual request the cops made.

No actually they were asking people not to commit crimes or get into auto accidents while they listened to the end of the Royals game. Very tongue-in-cheek.

I tried that but the little boxes that the Tweets were in didn’t copy over and that kind of ruined the effect. Plus it’s Huffpo and I can never remember what source we need to exerpt and what sources we can post in full.

Civilized citizens don’t commit crimes, but since our gov’t is just so intent on making everybody a criminal you gotta make stuff up to keep em’ on the hook.
