"....A recent 90-minute interview with the Washington Post paid off with a Wednesday front-page story headlined, New image, renewed ambition for Perry, that was sprinkled with details about Perrys preparations for a presidential run that the outgoing governor says isnt yet a sure thing.
This Perry comes across as studious, contemplative and humble, wrote Philip Rucker, national political reporter for the Post. He said he is at peace with his 2012 presidential campaign, in which his shoot-first-aim-later approach proved catastrophic, but is hungry to redeem himself.
Coinciding with the story, Texans for Rick Perry released a stylized, three-minute video touting Perrys economic legacy after 14 years in office. The video, punctuated by dramatic orchestral music and sweeping Texas vistas, is the same production being shown during seven dinners giving Perry a chance to personally pitch affluent Republican donors the people who could make or break a second run for the White House."....

Gov. Scott Walker
Sen. Ted Cruz
Lots of talent on the GOP bench.
And I also hope and believe that he has seen the light on the illegal immigrant issue since he did send the national guard to the border.
Cruz - Martinez 2016
“Oops.”
-Perry in 2016, after another failed GOP primary campaign.
where is this momentum at anyways....
I’d like to keep our Governor, thank you.
1 There will be fewer debates
2 Hopefully R.Perry learned not to go to a debate on back pain meds after surgery.
3 Perry/Kasich might be good too.. (not a huge fan of kasich but Ohio is needed)
I don’t think back pain meds changed his opinions any.
He wants to be grandstander in chief is all.
I’m sticking with Ted.
Martinez? Whatever has she done to stop and reverse the invasion of the US?
Salon is attacking Rick Perry, so I guess he is over the target.
.
I haven’t been hearing that much about Rick Perry in the past few weeks. Not that it really matters this far out from the election cycle. He would be smart not to become overexposed early in the game, like certain cankle-legged Socialist leaning Grandmas.
And he is quoted as saying as much in the article.
: )
If the candidate supports amnesty, the candidate is liberal.
If the candidate supports socialized medicine, the candidate is liberal.
If the candidate supports bigger government, the candidate is liberal.
I won't be voting for Perry. Primary or general election.
I don't vote for liberals.

And Rand Paul
Mike Lee
Mike McCaull
Trey Gowdy
I hope the democrats don’t slip drugs into his water again...
I didn’t read the article, but just from the headlines - Perry is right - Jesus said the poor you will have with you always. We are to help them when possible.
“....Rick Perry has had some gaffes to be sure, but he has also amassed a record of success as an executive in Texas which stacks up well against pretty much anyone else in the nation. Can the public look past the repeating media themes about him as some sort of bumbling, forgetful, Mr. Magoo character? Im not saying that Perry will be or even should be the nominee, but relegating him to the dustbin of political history over a few on stage flubs seems to be a waste of tremendous potential.”
