Birthday - Ronald Reagan, (1911-2004) the 40th U.S. President, was born in Tampico, Illinois. Reagan spent 30 years as an entertainer in radio, film, and television before becoming governor of California in 1966. Elected to the White House in 1980, he survived an assassination attempt and became the most popular president since Franklin Roosevelt.

Happy Birthday Mr. Reagan, we need another like you to save us from this feckless fool on the hill.
“..and became the most popular president since Franklin Roosevelt.”
And contrast this fact to what we have now...in all respects. It will be a long time before America ever has such a TRUE PATRIOT in the White House. His love for America is astounding.
Aw, gees.
You start reading his speeches and you can just hear his voice.

Happy birthday, Mr. President. You loved America and it showed.
We miss you very much.
If one word could best describe what made him a great leader I would have to say “Wisdom”. All people are imperfect but Reagan was the last POTUS IMO who understood who he was, why he was there in relation to the good of the nation, a deep respect for the office of POTUS itself, and a quiet by seemed to be steadfast belief in GOD as presiding over the affairs of man. The nation because of his beliefs prospered. We were given him as POTUS because at the time a significant number in this nation at least for a brief period had turned back toward GOD. Leaders are reward and judgments from GOD and are directly related to the morality of the people as a whole.
Shouldn’t this be in News/Activism?
The greatest American President of my lifetime — not even close!
Thank you, Mr. President.
“The greatest American President of my lifetime not even close!”
I had occasion to meet with Ronald Reagan several times while he was our governor. The “basic goodness” of the man just radiated throughout the room. Obola would have melted down in his presence. Just how far we have fallen to have this illegal alien, half-breed, anti-American POS sitting in Reagan’s chair and sleeping in his bed.
“Shouldnt this be in News/Activism?”
Anything regarding Reagan that gives us a moment to pause and remember a GREAT man vs the current juvenile delinquents squatting in our White House defies all categories. It’s welcome anywhere. I miss him so much. The descent into madness since we lost him is breathtaking. And we may never recover. Where are the GREAT men (or women) today? The country is going to end up without a pot to p**s in and evil men (and women) love to have it so. Who will lead us back from the brink, inspire millions to set aside all the stupid little divisive internal squabbling and unite to take our country back? Who can do that? We don’t have much time left. God, for another leader like Reagan. They are few and far between.
Happy Birthday, Governor Palin!!! (Wed 11th)
If anybody can make it out to Simi Valley, California, I highly recommend a visit to the Reagan Library and Museum. I became a member and occasionally visit. It’s a wonderful experience and they do an excellent job.
A while back, I found that someone with the username TallSky over on YouTube has done a wonderful job in making a professional 2-part video on the tour.
Another video of the library from ReaganFoundation, and hosted by actor Gary Sinise, is also recommended.
The videos are not a substitute for a visit, but they are very good, especially if circumstances prevent you from going. They did spur me to make my first visit and I ended up getting a membership to help support the Reagan Foundation.
I’ve seen the Gary Sinise video. It’s great.
I’d love to visit.
Thanks for the info.
Thanks for your email...I am still too new here to be allowed replies but wanted to acknowledge/agree.
We are blessed to have witnessed Ronald Reagan’s presidency ... He is truly — indeed, truly — among America’s greatest leaders.
Thank you, Ronniesque. Welcome!
Absolutely.
