I’ve been a McDonald’s customer dang near from their inception. Either my taste or their food has morphed for the worse. A Big Mac, if fresh and hot , used to be fantastic. Now it’s hard to get anything out of that place that either fresh or hot.
Hey, I have an idea: The Throwback Menu! Make the fries and burgers EXACTLY like you did 30 years ago. Exact ingredients. Exact size and portions. Exact quality.
This particular McDonalds is next to a methadone clinic. It's a freak show of messed up people, who have their own little drama going on all day - in-fighting amongst the strung out, with alliances shifting daily. A normal coffee order, other than mine, is a medium 12&12 coffee - that's a coffee with 12 creams and 12 sugars.
Good cheap coffee and a free freak show - I'm lovin' it.
McDonalds should compete by opening up a methadone clinic next door.
I used work there...and walk over and eat at Noodles...you know...the Worlds Finest Chocolate is sold right across the street from Maxiums....the Greek restaurant. ..oh ...good times...

It’s not the cheapest fastest place to eat anymore. And people can’t afford it as often as they used to.
When I go through the drivethru at Chik-Fil-A I am greeted by someone who speaks clear English, is polite and thanks me for my business. When I go to Mickey D I am greeted by grunts and growls (if at all) and I have to pointedly thank them (not that it seems to matter). I like McDonalds’ breakfast mcmuffins but little else there, whereas everything at Chik-Fil-A is tasty. Conclusion: on the rare occasions I buy fast food my business tends toward Chik-Fil-A.

they coat the fries with a starch powder so that they don’t soak up as much oil and they changed the oil so there’s no beef fat in it.
the burgers are disgusting. the buns are nothing special.
the former ceo spent most of his time marketing to blacks. which many here noticed and how could you not? they were marketing image, not better food. the food is low grade bottom barrel. you end up with stuff that is never nicely prepared and looking as good as the fake photo food in commercials or picture ads.
See....that’s what you call making the best out of what life gives ya.

They advertised to make it into a black restaurant. They’ve been doing it for years now.
