Judge REDUCES prison sentence of man who raped 3-year-old while covering her mouth because 'he didn't intend to harm her'
A California judge has reduced a child rapist's mandatory 25-year sentence down to only 10 - saying anything longer would be 'cruel and unusual punishment'.
Superior Court Judge M. Marc Kelly told an Orange County jury that 20-year-old Kevin Jonas Rojano-Nieto 'did not intend to harm' the three-year-old girl he raped at his family home in June. The judge said that he was sure that although Rojano-Nieto sodomized the girl and covered her mouth so she couldn't scream out, 'there was no violence or callous disregard for the victim's well-being'.

I can only think that someone who is also a pedophile would “judge” that the man didn’t mean any “harm” to this poor child. Even when he grabbed her.. even when he held his hand over her mouth to muffle her little screams. IMHO.. this judge just announced his deviancy. IMHO.

he MUST be placed in a position of apologizing to and offering to do something DECENT for the child’s family!! Offering himself up for Voluntary Commitment to a Mental Institution for starters!

Funny, that. Even incarcerated criminals have their own code. One might be a safe cracker, drug dealer, burglar, perhaps even a murderer, and survive in prison; but a child rapist is considered too low even for the low.
Just occurred to me. The length of sentence may not matter given how inmates that commit crimes against children get treated in prison.
Even though you screwed up, the general population at Chino will fix the problem.
