In the final hours before the House votes on a new leadership-concocted scheme to sneak Obamatrade past the American public, it’s been revealed that pro-Obamatrade forces are now aiming to sneak a renewal of the highly controversial Export Import Bank into the deal to secure Senate passage later if the House passes it on Thursday.
“I and all the other members there are looking for a guarantee … for a deal to be good it’s got to have enforcement, TAA, I think it’s got to have Ex-Im reauthorization,” Sen. Tim Kaine, a Democrat who’s angling for this in the deal, said according to Politico. “A lot of [the meeting] was to talk about that very question of: What is a sufficient assurance?”
Politico reports that such a discussion happened at the White House between so-called pro-Obamatrade Democrats and President Barack Obama.
“At the White House on Wednesday, pro-trade Democrats and Obama discussed the possibility of sticking together as a bloc so they can get TPA, TAA, a customs enforcement and perhaps an extension of the Export-Import Bank charter, which lapses at the end of the month,” Politico wrote late Wednesday.
What’s more, Sen. Maria Cantwell and Rep. Gerry Connolly (D-VA)—also confirmed the effort to sneak the Export-Import Bank reauthorization into the deal when it hits the Senate.

I see both sides but I am strongly leaning on the side of driving a stake through this beast! While, yes, other countries subsidies their businesses for competitive reasons, they point out we doing it with the ExIm Bank. Killing it kills that argument. Also we do have the World Trade Organization and our internal FTC to adjust for unfair pricing by competitors to the US. It is unsurprising that Senators from big exporting states like Washington (Boeing) want to continue the status quo be reauthorizing the funding.
In the end though, this is rank corporate welfare. Kill it!

Constituents of Boehner and McConnell, who voted for them despite the anguished pleas of conservatives, should now rejoice in what their vote accomplished.
By favoring their “home town boys”, those who voted for these two despicable scoundrels may have paved the highway to Hell for our nation. By electing them, the Democrats and fat-cat multinational corporations, both of whom despise America, have won.
With their votes, they have voted away prosperity for their children and grandchildren. Instead they have voted for involuntary servitude, grinding debt, rule by faceless bureaucrats in foreign lands, for America to be overrun with countless, starving and ignorant 4th world peasants, for crime to run rampant, for our military to be subverted and castrated, and for our constitution, culture and way of life to end.
These people, these voters, live in Ohio’s 8th congressional district, just 725,000 people; and the people of Kentucky. They were the ones who voted to end America as we know it.
Even in the short term, their voting for Boehner and McConnell almost guarantees yet another worthless RINO will be the Republican nominee for POTUS, because the establishment Republicans, led by them, will fix the convention.
This is the uniparty betraying the American public one more time. Trump is right, the politicians will never get us to the promised land.
