Good point...I am a Hispanic legal immigrant and I would vote for Trump if he gets the nomination.

I grew up with such families. They are as sick of the illegal Mexican/Central American invasion as we all are.

Oh, they happen to be supporting Trump, right now, btw.

According to this poll, Trump has a good percentage of the Hispanic vote in Nevada.

Trump has a good percentage of the Hispanic vote in Nevada who are supporting Republicans. What percentage of the Hispanic population as a whole is that?

I recently found “The Daily Ledger” with Graham Ledger on OANN as an interesting competitor for the Ted Baxter show.

I would imagine that most immigrants are in fact hard working decent people and I would guess that they don’t want the low-life criminal type here even more than Americans do because such people infest their neighborhoods first.”

The legal immigrants who came here know that - as Trump said- Mexico is sending us their worst citizens. The difference is that the legal ones that applied are good, honest folk and the ones being SENT are the bad apples.

Trump is saying what he believes.

That stands a (lot) of people on his side. Quite a lot.

I firmly support him. 100%.

(I’m not Hispanic, but I have lived overseas for several years, and think I am open-minded in things)

Trump is standing up.

That seems simple, but nobody else gets it.

Whoa, this poll strains my credulity. If this is true, that puts the lie to all the conventional wisdom about the hispanic vote.

Yepper - seen a number of news sites with many Latinos expressing support for him.

I agree. I used to walk past the line winding around the side of the federal building in LA every day on my way to work. It was all the patient, rule following people in line for immigration matters. Every time somebody expresses sympathy for the illegals, my heart goes out to the legal immigrants who wait years in stupid lines.

Carson has a HUGE PAC supporting him, which accounts for his exposure. RunBenRun, headed by scam artist John Phillips Souza IV, who previously did this with Sheriff Joe and made millions (he keep like 70% of moneys donated)

Illegal aliens live in the same neighborhoods as recent, legal immigrants. Of course they’re not happy with it!

I happen to be of mostly English descent. Love the English people and the country, in spite of their wretched government. I would be mightily ticked off if britain were to empty its prisons and ship them to my neighborhood. How is it any different with hispanics who are involuntarily on the receiving end of the scum of mexico and central america?

Nailed it.
GW also opposed California’s 187.
Many Hispanics who have been here for
a few generations have assimilated to
the point where they understand the
opposition to illegal immigrants is not
motivated by racism.

You are paying 50% of your income in taxes but want to pay another 20%?

Sounds like a great idea.

I am 87 and well remember the days when many had no money for the doctor.

They still got treated. It was called charity.

Obummer care will end all charity. Charity hospitals such as the Catholic and Shriner hospitals will be gone.

And there were at one time a lot of them.

Obummer care will also greatly diminish research.

RE:"Many Hispanics who have been here for a few generations have assimilated to the point where they understand the opposition to illegal immigrants is not motivated by racism."

The corrupt Mexican government tries hard to establish its control over its "citizens living abroad" (even if born in the U.S.) and no doubt likes them to believe that they are victims of any kind of ism in the U.S.

prior to the 1980s

There were Mexican government efforts to

But nothing in the former like today.

1980s Legal immigration

Under President Salinas

Mexico's

became very active in the U.S.

By 1990 Mexican policy had

1996 LA Times article

1990s legal immigration

Mexico wanted Mexican-Americans to

President Ernesto Zedillo (1990s) spoke to Mexican-American politicians telling them

1995 NY Times article

1980s Illegal immigration

The Immigration Control and Reform Act (IRCA) in 1986

Mexican Policy & Émigré Communities in the U.S.

And then there is the emergence of hometown philanthropic clubs that send multi-billions of dollars to Mexican communities saving all levels of the corrupt Mexican government from having to depart with a peso to help its citizens. A better term is

Meanwhile if that money remained in the hands of the ILLEGAL aliens (undocumented workers) would they need taxpayer support for food, housing, healthcare, education, and all other transfer payments that states and communities provide them?

IMO it's the way the corrupt government of Mexico "taxes" its citizens in its "Nation without borders."

So yes, undocumented workers do pay taxes.

Federations give Mexicans voices

Immigrant Mexican philanthropic groups turn toward politics

People fail to understand it is not an immigration by Mexicans to live here and assimilate but a CONQUEST!

The Mexican has never forgotten or learned to live with our conquest of their territory in the 1840's. They have ALWAYS taught the "Reconquista! Today they are living it.

It is the white American bemused by cosmopolitan ideology that has become stupid and allowing their nation to be taken without a shot being fired.

Thanks...actually it’s my wife who immigrated here. She and her family spent tens of thousands on the legalization process through lawyers. Everyone of them has taken test and passed to become an American citizen. They all work hard and pay their taxes like any one of us who still is able to find work.

So when we get the illegals strolling in and cutting in front of hard working immigrant Americans, it’s an outright insult to the hard work, effort and integrity of those who made the effort to respect our nation and its laws.

And the family thinks this is disgusting beyond measure.

And for those leftists who want to support the illegal invaders? They are beneath filth.
