Trump probably has more depth to him than you do.

Yeah, his weakness has been something of a playboy style. But he’s also done many concrete deeds to improve his city, help out veterans, and help out small-time folks in need without taking credit.

As a billionaire he raised all three of his kids to know hard work and to manage to get and keep on the straight path, so they in turn can provide a solid upbringing to their kids.

He’s been fascinated with politics for decades and has considered wading in where most rich folks have no interest in going—before finally taking the plunge in June. He’s genuinely looking to use his abilities and assets to help the country and his fellow countrymen who have been so good to him.

No, he’s not perfect. But it’s looking like the country is fortunate to have him step forward at this time.

I love Don Rickles - he always made me laugh. He was extremely hilarious on the Dean Martin Roasts - they called him “Mr. Warmth.” I guess Trump could be called the Don Rickles of presidential politics.

Trump has a very sharp wit. This interview was actually from weeks ago, and he clearly has learned since then to be more careful with what he says in criticizing women.

There is a double standard where the likes of Jeb and Hill and make cracks about Trump’s hair, but he can’t comment on someone else’s appearance.

But he’s learned that and I expect won’t make that mistake again.

Equating Trump’s remarks with Hillary’s emails is a bridge too far. What she did puts our country at risk - what Trump said puts his foot squarely in his mouth.

There are so many double standards at so many different levels it’s mind boggling.

It’s fascinating.

Trump’s shallowness is breaking the façade that political campaign coverage and how it is discussed and presented by the media is not shallow.

We have a bit of an emperor’s new clothes situation going on.

Politicians, pundits and media pretend it is not the showbiz and horse race handicapping it has become.

Trump treats it as such openly and lays things bare. The resonance shakes things.

Comment about his hair no one says a word He comments about a woman it’s sexist. Double standard

Nonsense. If Carly Fiorina had commented on his hair and no one said anything, that would be a double standard. But you knew that.

So true.

The Truth is more hated than Lies. (Machiavelli)

What we have is an electorate that is very superficial-—Trump KNOWS that-—he knows that MOST people vote by how a person “LOOKS” and “SOUNDS”-—it is ALL the PERCEPTIONS created by the mass media.

Was he “nice”? LOL-—But I don’t think people think of Trump as “nice”. he will do whatever to “win”——(and the truth is very ugly).

I do have a hard time with watching Florina. She is not attractive at all-—but I knew about her incompetency in running HP and I hate her worldview and I don’t want a woman to be CIC.

I think it is a vile concept to put women in charge of males at war. I want a Patton and there is absolutely no women, even a Thatcher, that could duplicate a Patton, in words and action. Males can not be females and females who try to warp their natural instincts, and pretend to be what they are not, are still deficient in many ways and create a different dynamics when with males.

I don’t think Trump is particularly a “moral” male-—but he is very masculine-—just not “mature” in ways (which could be dangerous). But I would rather have him as CIC, rather than a warped, effete homosexual who will bow and bend for the enemy, like what we have now.

The media tries to control Trump’s “image”-—but they are having great trouble doing it. They can’t pin down Cruz either, because he is too savvy and so intellectual and mature, and quick on his feet, and has such a soft voice, which ejects the “Republicans are “Mean”” meme, that the press and schools promote 24/7.

Pretty disappointed in you Don. The Meghan thing was justified. This comment about Carly was in poor taste and showed a lack of judgement.

I am still going to vote for though! I want the WALL built.

“Hell hath no fury as a woman scorned!” Just see what happens if you don’t keep your part of the deal and build the WALL across the southern border of the U.S.!

I have one flipping ugly mug and I will be like that female pinko and on you like white on rice!

I don’t particularly like it either, but I can live with it. For the most part, I don’t pay it a lot of attention. It comes with the territory with Trump, but it’s not particularly important in comparison to the problems facing our country. I do enjoy it when his criticisms are more personality oriented, like with Jeb being low-energy.

The only real concern I have about these kinds of comments is how they can get him off track from focusing on the things that really matter, and the things which have attracted a lot of people to him. The media is only too happy to focus on these things rather than substance. But so far, he’s managed to do pretty well, regardless.

“We’re really talking about not a physical thing, we’re talking about the persona. This is a women that gets tremendous publicity,” he said. “I don’t know why…her past doesn’t go along with the publicity she’s getting.”

Uh .. OK. Is doesn't mean is and face doesn't mean face. That's where we are at in the wonderful world of politics.

Trump on Fiorina's face: I made those comments as an entertainer

So he's running for Comedian in Chief and not Commander in Chief?

I guess that’s one hard thing about locking yourself into being a buffalo in a china shop. You can’t stop even if you want to.

Contextualizing it was a way of stopping. But once should have been enough. He didn’t have to present three pictures of stopping.

I don’t see how the two are incompatible :)

I include a bunch of factors but leadership is paramount.

If you can’t see that, then don’t bother me anymore.

He’ll order the tanks out to shoot comic books.

Seriously speaking (pardon the irony) SOME humor is a good thing, as long as it doesn’t walk away with you. Trump should control the humor, not the humor control Trump. Not a fatal problem, not one he can’t recover from.

He’s (hopefully) learning.

I think his point is that it’s very likely no one would say anything if she did comment on his hair. A lot of people have already commented on it without being criticized for doing so.

Another non-story designed to attack Trump.

Has nothing about Trump’s stance on any issues.

MSM is just about pure evil these days.

In the business arena, where both she and Trump have been, Trump has beat her hands down, and please don’t get all double entendre on me about this.

Wouldn’t it be nice if Politico applied the same standard to Hillary? For every Trump misstep there would be 100 for Hillary.

So while everyone is focused on this ridiculous issue, no one is asking Hillary how her policies have directly contributed to the slaughter of hundreds of thousands of people in the Middle East.

No let’s not talk about that. Fiorina’s face is all that matter. Americans honestly react to a mouse with as much hysterics as a nuclear explosion.
