Not only Bush’s amnesty policy makes our country less safe, it guarantees permanent majority of liberal voters for a hundred years in future.

Illegals and amnesty is #1 issue in 2016.

Bush’s amnesty and open borders? How about Ronald Reagan’s amnesty and open borders? Lets bash Ronnie a while

So you’d rather go with Jeb’s, Rubio’s, or Hillary’s promises of amnesty?

I have no doubt Trump will do as he says. He is in the private sector, where you have to do things, not just talk.

Definitely Trump. He went for Bush’s jugular on this issue.

No thanks. I won’t be bashing Reagan. BTW, I could be wrong, but I seem to remember Reagan regretting his amnesty decision. Something about the democrats not following through with their part of the agreement.

What a great catch!

“Trump responds: “The Wall Street Journal was sold to Rupert Murdock for $5 billion and is now worth $500 million. I don’t need the WSJ to be lecturing me.”

You are right about Reagan

Politicians do respond to the will of the people eventually (well some do)
GW Bush lost his immigration battle and a fence project was started.
They just need the will to finish it (and of course more $)

Clinton did wholesale firings the first day he took office, Bush should have done the same. The fact he could not his appointments through congress immediately did not mean he should have kept the incompetent treacherous traitorous Clinton staff in place. He should have had enough staff hired and ready to go before he took office, and fired every single member of the higher level Clinton hires immediately, especially Justice and National Security. It was inexcusable, and it was his duty to have this done, no matter how difficult. I remember a lot of people questioned this at the time, and wondered why he did not, and there quite a few editorials in non-leftist publications as well. It was if Al Gore had been elected, everything stayed the same. Bush shares some responsibility for the WTC, although most of the blame belongs to Clinton.

If Trump achieves just part of what he says he’ll do it will be a second rennaisance for America. If jeb gets his way, “Hasta la vista, America” and if Hillary or Bernie get the job it’s “nice knowin’ ya, tovarisch...”

AND he sat on the border to Iraq for a long time, while everything that was there was moved out of country, then when we go in, the borders are wide open, letting anything and everything in and out. FAIL.

But...but...illegal immigration is just an act of love.

Or so says Yebbie.
