The student who stabbed four people on the campus of UC Merced was identified Thursday as 18-year-old Faisal Mohammad from Santa Clara, Calif., the university confirms to Fox News.
"He had a smile on his face, he was having fun," a construction worker who helped stop the attack told CBS 47.
Campus police shot and killed Mohammad, a freshman computer science & engineering major, after Wednesday's attack. Police detonated his backpack and are testing a substance inside, KGO reports.
The four victims are expected to survive.
Authorities are investigating a motive.

The Plague of Islam
If the civilized world is to survive, Islam must be understood for what it really is: It’s not a religion, form of government, or anything recognizable to the civilized mind. Islam is a disease, an incurable disease of the mind that is highly contagious among the feeble minded and is now spreading among the world’s feeble minded at an epidemic rate. As with any disease, one can’t reason with this disease, negotiate with it, or treat in any manner other than how one would treat any incurable disease.
As past efforts to contain this disease have failed, carriers of this Plague of Islam must be eradicated wherever they’re found, for if they’re not, this disease will eventually end not just Western Civilization, but it will undo over 5,000 years of human civilization.

There are millions of immigrants coming into the EU. Germany alone has apparently taken in close to 800,000. The story being sold to the population is that these are just people from a war-ravaged part of the world seeking a better life. The first part may be true, the rest is bunk. There are, on some weekends, over ten thousand migrants coming over one border (Hungary) alone and virtually none have an interest in remaining there. They are all concentrating in the places where they believe the handouts (not opportunity) will be greatest.
But that is not the bad part. No, the bad part is that these are not, for the most part, refugees from a war. The demography doesn’t match that profile; war refugees trend female, very young (children) and very old (men past the age of productive resistance to the war in their own country.) These “refugees” are the exact polar opposite of that demographic profile; they trend male and of fighting age.
It only gets worse from there. These are also not healthy, first-world people. Many have communicable diseases, almost none have been immunized (against anything) and they’re all concentrating in relatively-small areas. This has the potential to be a health disaster of unprecedented size and scope in the developed world.

Different knife attack.
Yesterday at UC Merced, Faisal Muhammad went on a knife attack spree. He was smiling and attacking passerbys, without provocation.
Separately, Police in Sacramento recently arrested James Tran for the 8 October bar fight stabbing of Staff Sergeant Spencer Stone. Stone was famous for taking down a jihadi gunman on a train in France, so people wondered if his stabbing was a retaliation attack (apparently not).
