Donald Trump and Ben Carson are the leaders in a new poll that looks at both California and the nation. They are followed by Sens. Marco Rubio of Florida and Ted Cruz of Texas, who have moved into a solid second tier, according to a new USC Dornsife/Los Angeles Times poll.
The full results of the poll, looking at voter attitudes one year ahead of the 2016 election, as well as the race on the Democratic side, will be released on Sunday, the Times reported. The poll, conducted online by SurveyMonkey, surveyed 2,009 voters.
The California results:

Bump.
Or Arizona same question.
Cruz is surging.
Juneau Alaska is also in a red county?
No, those are the counties ALREADY run-over (and run by!) Mexicans.
Pushing Rubio by emphasizing him and leaving our Cruz again-God I hate the media, even the so called “conservatives”.
Such a biased headline. Rubio at 12% is “moving up,” and yet Cruz at 12% (which is at or near his highest polling numbers to date) is just ignored.
We will find out the answer when the bottom 10-12 fools drop out and free up 25-30% of the idiots that are supporting lindacrispypatakicarlyhuckelberryjindalgilmoresantorumjeb and the rest of the pack.
The blue parts are the ILLEGALS.
Isn’t the Arizona “blue” region primarily Indian reservations?
Good point I thought of that actually right after posting my question. Really goes to show the influence of the illegals on our electoral process; blows a hole in that “we gotta court the Latino vote by giving them amnesty” meme.
Yea, CA is “conservative” in all the wrong places!
It’s the desire for government programs to lift them out of poverty, but they never meet that goal.
That sliver of Louisiana in the far northeast should be blue.
“Interesting how Carson is giving Trump a run for his money.”
Interesting that I have not seen any new polls showing Carson in the lead. So has Carson peaked?
Just as I thought things would develop. In time Carson will fade and it will be Trump, Cruz and Rubio.
My hope is that if Trump gets the nomination Cruz will selected as VP.
Yes, AZ and New Mexico blue regions are Mexican (immirgants and illegals, Spanish-speaking majorities) or Indian reservations.
NM has one famous “arts and crafts” enclave in the mountains that is religiously communist. (Er, progressively “blue”.)
Love seeing Jeb at 4%
Cruz’s Achilles heel:
1. Pushed TPA in Senate
2. Corker Bill âyeaâ vote on cloture.
3. Increase H1B visas by 500% hurts American workers.
4. Connection to the Bushes:
He worked on George W. Bushâs 2000 presidential campaign as a domestic policy adviser and served in the Bush administration as associate deputy attorney general in the Justice Department and director of policy planning in the Federal Trade Commission.
Interesting how conservative CA still is in some places....
Yes, but what’s the population difference between those areas. If an area has 3/4 of a million people, and is 50/50 split, that’s still 375K Dem. If an area has 10,000 population and 99% is conservative, that’s still only 9.9K give or take. Still significantly less than the more populated area.
