With President Barack Obama set to address the nation on ISIS and terrorism tonight, a new CNN/ORC Poll finds Americans increasingly displeased with the President's handling of terrorism and more willing to send U.S. ground troops into the fight against ISIS.
For the first time in CNN/ORC polling, a majority of Americans (53%) say the U.S. should send ground troops to Iraq or Syria to fight ISIS. At the same time, 6-in-10 disapprove of the President's handling of terrorism and 68% say America's military response to the terrorist group thus far has not been aggressive enough.

Ground Troops under Obama? Really?
Obamas dream. he has been trying for a few years to get America into the Syrian civil war.
He will have us fight “ISIS”, and at the same time join with the other rebels and move onto his true goal, undermining the Syrian government.
We need a 100% moratorium on war while Obama is president.

The us federal government is pitiful, stupid and evil, and until such time as it’s not, we stay home.

Appropriately arm the Kurds and train them to call in effective airstrikes so we can kill as many ISIS scumbags as possible.
It would be nice if we even had some ground troops to send. But we have a president who thinks it’s the peoples’ job to serve him. And the last thing he wants is an actual fighting force, especially if it interferes with his “Arab Spring”.
Why go to the middle east to fight isis when they are already here? Let’s clean up our own house first, then send an army to the middle east if necessary.
I don’t buy it. But I would not be surprised if this is one of those propaganda polls that’s released because Obama plans to send troops to the ME, supposedly to fight ISIS.
Pure BS unless those surveyed/polled hate America and our Troops and love Iman Obama.
Sounds like something Obama's orcs would cook up in order to justify something he intends to spring on us.

In favor of war with Obama as CIC? Not a chance.
As long as it’s some other mother’s son carrying the freight, many are in favor.
The last thing we need to do is get involved on the ground. Our air offensive was a complete disaster as it was designed to be. All we’d do is ball up the works. I don’t even like the idea of supplying arms as they always end up in the wrong hands.
Let Russia handle the air campaign, then let the Kurds, Syrian Army and Iranians slug it out on the ground. They’re doing just fine without us.
Apparently, bombing Japan neutered this country. No one has had the balls to unload one since.

Let the Russians do it, we have little national security interests at stake. We’ve been in the middle east for 15 years (if you include GW1).
