Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump made the shortlist for TIME magazine's 2015 Person of the Year for his "populist rhetoric" in the 2016 presidential election that has "stirred debate about the party's future."
The magazine released its shortlist Monday morning with Trump making the cut among other finalists including Black Lives Matter activists, Russian president Vladimir Putin and Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi, the leader of the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS).Â

Trump wants to secure the borders, enforce the law, end anchor babies, end sanctuary cities, build a wall, deport them all, secure the borders, secure the nation, including sending the refugees back!
No one is better at border security, national security than Trump.
Sounds pretty damn conservative to me.
Want to talk about cutting taxes, cutting spending, cutting regulations, cutting government, cutting cronyism, cutting corruption, growing the economy, putting our people back to work, making America great again?

Want to defend God, family, guns, country? Want to build the greatest military ever so no one dares mess with us?

Everything positive that's happening is a result of Trump's "populist rhetoric" .
Everyone else is parroting, like Cruz the me too/ what about me, wannabe Trump candidate or they're playing catch up to his "populist" popularity. Even Hillary is talking about inversion, a subject Trump brought up and talks about frequently.
The reason for the Obama address last night and the fact he (reluctantly) called the California massacre "a terrorist act" is a result of Trump's "populist rhetoric". Not to mention Trump publicly calling Obama out for not calling it like it is.
Not yet elected Trump has done more for the direction, the dialog and (positive) mood of the country than ALL of the elected representatives combined, including Cruz.
I think folks are upset that all their candidate has left is imitation....which is a wonderful compliment to Trump....but has to sting a bit, none the less ;-)

They changed the title from “Man of the Year” to “Person of the Year”. If they keep giving this award (sic) to evil groups then they need to change it to “Demons of the Year”.

It wasn't really a 'snipe' at Trump, since it was another Freeper's (editor-surveyor) original post. No, just being a little more accurate, that's all. His wealth is of no real concern, to me or to anybody but the Gimme Dat crowd. I like Trump, and would vote for him any day......................
