Wonder why.......
What is the context here? What did Cruz do?
I hear a death rattle.
Why would Cruz do this, unless he thought he couldn’t win without it?
Why would Cruz listen to bad advice to send this?
If he’s so upright, why would he do anything to win.
Speaking as an undecided voter, I say the Sec State can shove it.
If Cruz is trying to get Republicans to vote for him, what is the problem? He isn’t pointing a gun at them and he isn’t paying them—these are things DEMOCRATS do.
So sick of this kind of crap. Let the man campaign.
Whoever thought this one up is a real life dumbass, and arrogant too. Where does the buck stop?
ruh roh
Man, things are getting brittle.
He and the Gov trying to shut Cruz down.
Another mistake from the Great Thinker Cruz.
This mailer has been used in the past, without such condemnation by the Iowa Secretary of State. Check out who Mr. Paul D. Pate is supporting, and you’ll likely find Rubio, imho.
I wonder how many people the ‘consultants’ think would be motivated by such junkmail.
Nice.
The Secretary of State doesn’t like that brown shirt word
“violation” any better than the recipients.
Intimidation is raising it’s rank on the *list of desperate tactics” of the Ted Cruz Campaign.
Political intimidation is generally frowned upon, not a part of the “Best Practices” manual.
Bhoom!
Cruz is not stupid. Has he answered this charge? I keep thinking this is a dirty trick by Rubio or Right to Rise. Cruz couldn’t possibly be this stupid. Could he?
Teddy should have asked himself, “What would Jesus send?”.
“...the Iowa Secretary of State does not “distribute” voter records. They are available for purchase for political purposes only, under Iowa Code.” â Paul D. Pate, Iowa Secretary of State
*************************************************************************
Strange “statement” by the Sec of State...so voter records are “available for purchase for political purposes only” (and ALL campaigns to purchase the records to build their data bases) but the “Secretary of State does not ‘distribute’ voter records”?
If they don’t “distribute” the sold records to the buyers of those records, how the hell would the buyers receive them. I do believe this GOPe official is quibbling and playing with words. But I guess that is normal in this political season.
Cruz stepped in it BIG TIME.
In other words, the Cruz campaign violated Iowa election law. I would expect nothing less from the Glenn Beck nutballs.
Oh. Very not good.
