Conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh said Tuesday that Donald Trump lost the Iowa caucus because his criticism of Ted Cruz made him sound "like a liberal Democrat."
"I don't think Trump skipping the debate had a thing to do with what happened last night," began Limbaugh. "This is a Republican primary. It's Iowa. Conservatives win in Iowa."
"Donald Trump, I don't know if you forgot - one thing that everyone remembers - he went out and tried to criticize Ted Cruz," explained the talk-show host.
"Ted Cruz isn't the enemy," he continued. "Hillary Clinton is the enemy. Ted Cruz is not a nasty guy. Ted Cruz is not a Canadian."
"Nobody is going to believe that, especially when you offer that criticism sounding as though it could come with Bernie Sanders. In a Republican primary, you do not win if you're going to sound like a liberal democrat criticizing Ted Cruz."
He can’t. A debate between him and Hillary solo..... she would make him look like a self absorbed idiot. He cannot win a serious debate on the issues. For him it is all about trashing the opponent. She’s already trashed :)

Trump did fine with the evangelicals. He lost votes in the Romney precincts. That tells you something. Dirty tricks by GOP. They took away Trump votes and gave them to Rubio.
It looks like the process was changed this year, where you could easily vote more than once if you wanted to. Many people were turned away & not allowed to vote.

You can have Rubio Derangement all you want, but Rubio is far more conservative than most running - with the big screw up he made on Gang of Eight.
I don’t support Rubio, but facts are facts.....and the fact is, that he is the establishment hope, the man who ran Charlie Crist out of the party - means we are kicking the estabs ass. He’s far far far more conservative than Kasich Christie Jeb Carly etc. You shouldn’t let one issue blind you so much, even as important as that issue is.
I’m a Trump supporter but I gotta agree with Rush. DJT should not have attacked Cruz with the Canadian birther garbage and then calling him a liar. He should stick with hitting Cruz as being a politician and not having the business acumen to deal with the economy and such like he can. Trump hurt himself mostly.

I was an insurance agent so I get it fine and have my solution and it is extremely painful. What is your solution w/o any gummit subsidies. How do you insure the millions of insured who will be losing their insurance like myself in 10 mos?

The way that conservatives have proposed for years - allow high-risk pools for those with pre-existing conditions, allow catastrophic coverage policies, a public safety net for the truly needy. You have fallen into the liberal trap of assuming that everyone has the right to have health insurance - everyone has the right to health CARE, not health insurance.
