In the early morning hours on Monday, Breitbart published a scathing takedown of their now-former editor-at-large Ben Shapiro after he announced his resignation from the conservative media company this weekend. The piece with the headline “BEN SHAPIRO BETRAYS LOYAL BREITBART READERS IN PURSUIT OF FOX NEWS CONTRIBUTORSHIP” has since been deleted; but of course, nothing on the internet ever really gets deleted, so you can read the sarcastic company reply here for yourself.
The lede reads, “Former Breitbart News editor-at-large Ben Shapiro announced Sunday evening via left-wing Buzzfeed that he is abandoning Andrew Breitbart’s lifelong best friend, widow, hand-picked management team and friends in pursuit of an elusive contributorship at the Fox News Channel.” First shot, fired.
The piece, written by William Bigelow, sarcastically continued, “It was business as usual for the ambitious conservative gadfly, who is known to live on the edge, courting and then leaving a series of companies over the past several years.”
Breitbart then lobbed a few potshots at Buzzfeed directly, bitingly writing:
“Buzzfeed, a site that has been aiming to destroy Breitbart News since the moment Andrew Breitbart died, and which has predicted the demise of Breitbart.com for the past four years, rewarded Shapiro for his bravery by placing news of his resignation just beneath several other hot stories, including “This Wee Little Snake Taking Its First Breath Will Cure Anyone’s Fears,” and “2/26: How Two Llamas And A Dress Gave Us The Internet’s Greatest Day.”

Shapiro has been an anti-Trump jerk for eight months. He belongs at the useless, collapsed National Review.
It’s ironic because today William Buckley would be over at Breitbart supporting Steve Bannon, not at National Review with those haters.

sorry, I am not interested in “playing”, I think that the situation that confronts us is lamentable with no good outcome. Trump isn’t being “killed” anywhere that I can see. All media outlets including Fox are so far up his butt, for fear that he will blackball them, as his skin is gossamer-thin. He will be the nominee, I don’t see it working out otherwise and I will vote for him bc I won’t NOT vote and of course would never vote for Hillary. but it nauseates me to see the passes he is being given by freepers for things which they crucified past candidates. sorry state of affairs, IMO, and I have been here a LONG time.

he is on every show DAILY, sean Hannity practically performs a sex act on him when he has him on. Friday PM, Hannity had him for fully half of his show. Greta has him on constantly as well. he’s on Fox and Friends practically daily. Even Oreilly kowtowed to him after the last debate for fear he won’t come back on his show. if you think that coverage of any criticism of him is UNFAIR and demonstrates bias against him then I guess you wouldn’t see them as up his butt, but fox has him on NON STOP. Greta had his son on who said that his dad didn’t have a mean bone in his body. she let that laughable remark pass without A WORD. Seriously?

I don’t think that any candidate should be BELOVED by any news media [But trump IS beloved at breitbart without question]. he’s getting coverage on fox, constant coverage, NOT CRITICAL coverage either. yes there are those who don’t like him, but the ones who have him on their shows suck up shamelessly and never criticize, never challenge, bc they know that the thin skinned one will not come back and they can’t have that.

Really? Then why is Breitbart hemorraghing reporters? breitbart is described by associate editor Stepman in his resignation letter as a propaganda arm of the Trump campaign.
