When candidate Donald Trump announced his candidacy to run for President last year we knew immediately there would be a seismic shift in the political landscape. Those who have followed politics in the last 8+ years suspected the 2016 race would inevitably boil down to Globalists -vs- U.S. Nationalists.

Surely there’s a way to both support your son and not throw your friends under the bus.

All I can figure is he wants that boy to keep his job LOL

Completely asinine comparison. In 2008, only 8 candidates were in the race at Iowa, 4 withdrew by Feb 7th. In 2012, only 4 candidates were in the race. In 2016, 12 candidates were in the race at Iowa, 3 withdrew after Iowa, 2 after NH, 1 after SC, 1 after Super Tuesday, and 1 after ST 2. 4 are still in. Perhaps your math skills suck or you’re making an anti-Trump point, but percentages are usually lower the greater the denominator.

No...all you are is a blithering idiot; someone who falls for tale tales and snake oil glibness.
Cruz isn’t REALLY a “conservative” at all, has NO useful experience of any kind, and has actually accomplished almost nothing.

++++++++++++++++++

trump supporter defined right there!

trump isn’t a Conservative. He’s done nothing for the Conserrvative movement. trump undermined Conservatives for years with his liberal support and liberal donations.

enjoy being conned by trump!

Can you imagine going to a little league game thinking you’ve got to trash talk your friends cause their kids are on the opposing team?

"A “blacklist” on the Right is not aimed at “destroying their careers”.

Of course it is. That's the whole purpose of a blacklist: to identify and target people and organizations whose positions are in opposition to your agenda so that your allies can undermine and destroy them.

"What I’m interested in is how are Conservatives and Republicans (including some RINOS), going to get together ..."

We aren't going to include any RINOs, period. We're done with being betrayed by the establishment Republicans. Our aim is not only to elect a pro-American president, but also to crush any establishment RINO who stands in our way and to ensure that those people never have a chance to influence out party again. Should that fail, we intend to destroy the party and rebuild it from the foundation up. You haven't figured that out yet?

"Can Trump learn enough to lead our country?"

Trump knows more than you give him credit for, as evidenced by his AIPAC speech. It's obvious that he read the details of the Iran deal. Furthermore, Trump's historical references indicate that he has indeed done his homework.

Can Cruz overcome horrible “visual” discrimination against him to beat Trump and Hillary?"

There's nothing 'visual' about it. Cruz is nothing more than a polished orator. He has no fangs, and lacks the savvy to leverage deals that are favorable to America. In fact, I may add, he backed a trade deal (TPP) that undercuts American economic vitality and places America in a vulnerable position. I don't know about you, but I don't see how Cruz is any different than Obama in that regard.

Agree with some of what you say, but re the “blacklist”, those “targeted” have jobs that nobody will take away from them. You need to know the history of the “blacklist” which was originally created by the Communists in Hollywood to cleanse that industry of anti-communists including Morrie Ryskind, Adolph Menjou (they succeeded), Ward Bond (saved by John Wayne’s intervention), and others.

I’ve never heard of a red losing a job in the “movement” unless they were convicted of a serious crime. Most conservatives are in safe jobs and have been for decades. I knew most of the “young Turks” from 1970 onward and none are unemployed or poor.

If Trump is learning, good. I don’t like unprepared people running for high offices.

Never underestimate Cruz. You may not like him, but he has been leading the fight in the Senate against Obama machinations when no one else would. I’ll give him credit for that. He will make mistakes, but then again, he’s not running for God (Obama thought he was.He won the Big Anchillata, so maybe he was right).

As for RINOS, it is up to the conservative and independent conservative voters to get rid of them at the congressional elections level. I have nothing against a good purge of the GOP and their pansy brigade.

But in the end, we are going to need as many supporters of the Republican presidential candidate as we can get, and if that includes some (quietly) repentant RINOS, so be it. It is a risk we will have to take considering the Democrat alternative (Even the Devil will vote against Hillary because she’s more successful than he is in destroying people).

I'm a Trump supporter, and I resent your generalizations that all Trump supporters are liberal.

I am a fiscal and social conservative, a Bible-believing Christian, a proud veteran (the 7th generation of my family to serve our country), a strict Constitutionalist, and have been a registered Republican for my entire adult life. I have put skin in the game during one election after another, only to learn that I have been lied to by a party that has been hijacked by liberals.

A wise man does not stay with a woman who is not only brazenly unfaithful, but who also attacks the man for holding her accountable.

However, allow me to make a quite pointed and specific observation, based upon your posts, you are acting like a smarmy, crowing, self-preening GOP establishment douchenozzle.

So you and your beloved unfaithful, cowardly, surrender-monkey party establishment can go f*ck yourselves.

You should spend some time at Breitbart, American Thinker or gateway pundit.

And don’t try to get off the hook saying you don’t go there because you don’t like ads or popups there are plenty of ways to get around those.

If you’re so sure Trump doesn’t have much widespread support, name names so we can verify your claim ourselves.

Sure but can he do it with a straight face? Same for Beck, Hannity and Rush.

Easy. I was far, far, far from a ¡Jeb! supporter, but I'd vote for him over Hillary without flinching.

We've seen what eight years of Obama has done. Another Establishment GOPe would hurt us a lot. This country could not recover from another Dem.

Does it matter?

He’s ending her political career.

He’s not going to be a Bush, Dole, Bush, McCain, Romney guy, that praises his adversary and fails to take them to task.

Has there been a post on FR by a Cruzer that bad mouths Jeff Sessions? Let me know...I will lose it...Sessions is the best Senator and mind in the country...will find it hard to find another like him. Cruz....little league and not worthy of shining Sessions shoes.

Eh sorry to say some Cruz supporters have posted about Sessions when he endorsed Trump. Ignore them!

I have heard Sessions runs unopposed in AL. I wonder how many other Senators share that distinction. Sessions is amazing...A true Patriot!!!!!!!

Where was this vitriol when a man that implemented socialized medicine in the state health was a governor became the nominee?

Uniparty Romney didn't threaten anyone in the political class's job or livelihood...

Trumpsters blacklist anyone who don’t support trump. They reap what they sow.

Sounds like you won't support Trump if he's the nominee.

Is that true?

Yes it will.

Once it has been brought up, it’ll have a shelf life of about an hour when nobody will care anymore.

All he has to say is that he had no idea how corrupt she was.

In certain ways it gives him street cred. I’m not just an anti Leftist hater. I used to donate to her. Then I found out...
