Poll: Nearly Half Of Republican Women Wouldn't Vote For Trump

By GABBY MORRONGIELLO 3/24/16

A new survey of women voters suggests a general election contest between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton could be disastrous for the Republican Party.

Nearly half of the female Republican electorate (47 percent) currently has a difficult time imagining voting for Trump as the Republican presidential nominee, according to the latest NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll.

Far fewer say the same of Trump's two remaining opponents, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz (32 percent) and Ohio Gov. John Kasich (27 percent).

Trump also has the worst favorability rating among female voters overall of any remaining Republican presidential hopeful. Seventy percent of women voters harbor negative views of the brash New York billionaire, compared to just 21 percent who view him favorably.

Moreover, the tendency among women voters to lean Democratic became even more pronounced when they were asked to consider a Trump versus Clinton matchup. In that scenario, 31 percent of women would vote for Trump, while 58 percent would choose Clinton.

It doesn’t matter who the nominee for the GOP is, they are going to get crushed in November. A majority of women will go against the GOP. Plus the country is majority Democrat now anyway. Hillarys character does not matter. All the matter is she is a Democrat and that is why she will win big, especially against Trump.

MEN- real fire breathing men will come out of the woodworks to vote for Trump. Independents, Democrats, union members, the elderly and infirm, people that have NEVER voted will come out for Trump. Americans of all walks of life aren’t buying the fundamental transformation of America. People STILL care about their country.

And the Republican establishment, sitting House and Senate Republicans, K Street lobbyists, big business, big pharma, Wall Street, the Chamber of Commerce, and all of the other bad actors that have hijacked our political system, our government, and our way of life- can go pound sand deep into their already augured out rectums. DIE SCUM DONORS

Wow! This is a staggering statistic: 47% of Republican women will not vote for him, and Hillary thrashed Trump 27% points. Folks, we are in for an electoral disaster. But sit back and watch the Trumpkins twist themselves into a pretzel to defend their “Dear Leader” and throw insults (Trumpisms) at anyone who posts negative factual data against their guy.

The MSM and establishment fear Trump the most and they do lie, so why do you call these polls factual?

Oversampling, undersampling, conservatives hanging up on pollsters...and you call these facts?

They project what they want and they want to talk us out of voting.

If they won’t vote for Trump to keep Hillary out of the White House they aren’t republicans.

Females seem by and large to vote as if they’re selecting a mate. The ones I know and talk to prefer Hillary. Feminism has certainly gotten a foothold in the underbelly of this tragedy

If no candidate reaches the point of controlling the delegate count of 1237 the convention is opened to a floor vote and the delegates are released from their obligation to vote in accordance with their state primary rules.

That's when the bargaining, negotiating and political promising begins to swing delegates to one candidate or another for what may be more than one floor vote.

To be eligible and in the running at that point a candidate MUST have won at least eight primary state elections. Neither Kasich nor Ryan have done so and will not be in a brokering position.

Well, nearly 90% of the women I know are voting for him.

The Linda Grahams of the world may not or the safe space cadets at Emory, but that isn’t saying much.

It is a certainty that rule will be changed before the convention.

Rules committee members are chosen by the republican state delegates. These delegates are grassroots Republicans and conservatives who are usually well connected and active in the party.

So you believe every poll? Even the ones that show Cruz losing WI, PA, NY and CA?

I am a woman and I will vote for anybody but Clinton at this point. But I also worry at times what’s going to come out of Trump’s mouth. I know many people who say they won’t vote for him ever. My husband despises the Clinton’s but he even said the other day he doesn’t think he could vote for Trump. I’m hoping he will come around if he is the nominee, but we are native NYers who have lived in the city and now upstate and my husband doesn’t believe for one minute Trump is Conservative. My husband knows an owner of a construction company that did some work for Trump. They are a small specialty business and Trump put off paying them until they threatened to take him to court. In the meantime, this business was on the verge of going under because it relied on being paid in a reasonable amount of time to have the money from this project to reinvest in the business and pay employees. I wasn’t going to post this on here, because I’m probably going to get attacked. So be it. And it really is a joke if people here think Trump can beat Clinton in NY or NJ.

If what you say about Trump is true, and he’s a disaster, what does that say about Cruz?

It would mean that that Republicans are on a 32 year streak of nominating phony conservatives.

48% want someone other than Trump, and the other 5% are undecided or will stay home?

Err! We went over the cliff by giving the Republican party both houses of the legislature to stop King Amabo. Trump is a product of people picking them selves up after going over the cliff and saying they’re not going to do that again. I was for Cruz till I became disinterested in him. The scare mongering doesn’t persuade me. If Trump is ahead when my state does their primary he’ll get my support. If the Republican convention does something sneaky and underhanded like then good luck with that! The Republican party has earned what they have sown.

Still waiting for Cruz to condemn the Melania ad.

Yeah, I’m sure he knew nothing at all about it beforehand. Oh, sure, that’s easy to believe.
