Would Cruz just be a less embarrassing loser?
The Washington Post ^ | 04/06/2016 | Charles Lane

We now know how big the Republican Party’s Donald Trump problem is: so big that some in the GOP have convinced themselves the solution is Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Tex.).

Yes, the erstwhile government-shutter-downer trails Hillary Clinton by only 3.1 percentage points in the RealClearPolitics average, as opposed to Trump’s 10.8-point deficit.

But be skeptical: Those polls probably exaggerate Cruz’s electability, which may diminish further if he gets the nomination, and the general electorate focuses on his ideology, even if his opponent is the unloved Clinton.

“Those polls probably exaggerate Cruz’s electability”

The Democrats are getting their first taste of Cruz, it won’t be pretty.

Cruz loss wouldn’t be “less embarrassing”, just more certain.

Since the GOPe already made a deal with the Dems for a Hillary presidency.

Donald Trump and Ted Cruz might have to start promising free 60" HD televisions to people who vote for them and to be delivered in February 2017 after completing a mail-in certificate.

It’s a pretty simple calculus. 3 points is close to the margin of error, it’s almost a coinflip. 10 points is a landslide loss.

The bottom line is this, no Republican is acceptable to the ruling oligarchs and corrupt MSM. Whoever the nominee is will be mercilessly pilloried by the corrupt MSM, late night DNC hosts, and anybody else.

Think:

George W. Bush
Sarah Palin
Mitt Romney
Ronald Reagan
Dan Quayle

It does not matter who the nominee is, that person will automatically be dubbed unacceptable and an embarrassment. And this to the criminally suspect and serial liar Hillary Clinton. As with Obama, and Bill Clinton before, without the corrupt MSM and Hollywood piping in disinformation 24/7 these people would be living abroad due to the scorn and shame they would otherwise face.

Cruz was humiliated in Florida, Virginia, and Ohio.

He is likely to finish behind "also ran" Kasich in Pa.

And this is the man who can beat Hillary?

What a total delusional joke ...

Considering that these results aren’t based upon electability in the swing electoral college states, the poll is next to worthless. Show us the numbers in FL, OH, VA, PA, NC, MO, NH, NV, CO, NM, WI, and IA.
