A nationalist Hindu group in India this week prayed for presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump's victory, and went so far as to call him "the lone savior of mankind" given his commitment to destroy Islamic terror.
Around a dozen members of Hindu Sena tossed offerings into a sacred fire and chanted Sanskrit hymns in prayers for Trump's successful campaign for the White house, reports Wall Street Journal on Thursday.
They held pictures of Trump with the addition of a traditional Hindu red dot daubed on his forehead, on either side of a drawing of the Hindu monkey god Hanuman.
Posters at the prayer rally read: "We Support Trump" and "He is hope for humanity against Islamic terror."
“We have kept the prayer to ask the gods to favor Trump in the election,” said Vishnu Gupta, the president and founder of the right-wing group Hindu Sena.
Gupta said Trump's promise to combat Islamic terror, and his December proposal to temporarily ban Muslim entry to the US that he softened this Wednesday, led his group to endorse the real estate mogul.

Wow. That’s almost as sad as entirely banning dissent on the man because you’re begging-on-your-knees desperate for him to win and keep a fraction of his promises.
Better than being on your knees, desperately begging Hillary Clinton not to make good on a fraction of her promises.

A combination matched by no other that I can think of who actually offered his services as president. Did I miss anyone? We had more than one who were not even NBC.

The Devil does not have the power to create. He is a provocateur in the employ of G-d, nothing more nor less. Islam is a silly-assed, evil, mess of mendacity in the service of said provocateur, but as such it is no more potent than Chewbacca.

The one thing that Trump offers the world is a tough stand against Political Correctness. Political Correctness is destroying this country as much as it is Europe, etc. If Trump succeeds in this fight, this group has a point.

Most of us get through life making assumptions. I assume you do as well. We sometimes make quick judgements based on a little bit of information, again, that is the way it works.
