Immediately after the news broke that FBI Director James Comey had announced he had reopened the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s handling of emails containing state secrets, most people recognized it was a serious threat Clinton’s campaign.
For nearly everyone, news like this says Clinton will be thrust onto defense and it will make each new attack on Donald Trump appear to be merely a lame attempt to deflect from her own serious problems.
Enter Rush Limbaugh. Instead of letting the story unfold on its own Rush thought it was a good time to remind us of how smart he thinks he is. He used a flimsy scenario that went like this “The cynic would say…” and then he went on to describe this “hypothetical cynic” saying “This is just a way to get wiki leaks off the front pages” – as if wiki leaks on the front pages was a widespread phenomenon. It is not.
In truth this development could more correctly be compared to Hillary Clinton going to a doctor and having a conversation that went like this, doctor: “Hillary I have good news and bad news which do you want first.” “Oh give me the good news, doctor I can sure use some,” she says.
“Well,” says the doctor, “I was wrong about your heart condition. You are not in immediate danger of death from a heart attack.”
“Great!” Hilary says, “But what’s the bad news?”
The doctor looks down at the floor and says, “You have terminal cancer and won’t live another week.”
There is no way this news actually pushes the wiki leaks out of people’s consciousness. We have had twenty wiki drops. Voters have been getting news of wiki leaks drops for weeks and the media had to be dragged kicking and screaming to start posting stories about wiki leaks. If they stop now voters, who already don’t trust the media, will laugh at them when they try to pivot to a new attack on Trump. Public demand for wiki leaks news has become the Genie out of the bottle – a bell that cannot be un-rung; and while it will never be front page news at the New York Times it is not going away.
By trying to be ‘Oh so erudite,” Rush has muddied what is a classic example of Occum’s razor that holds, “The simplest explanation for some phenomenon is more likely to be accurate than more complicated explanations."
Put another way; sometimes a banana is just a banana and nothing more. Hillary Clinton has been wrapped in flypaper and will be on defense all the way out to Election Day. There is nothing complicated about that.
The Democratic Party is a criminal enterprise and should be outlawed in this country. Arrest them all and confiscate their money and give it to the poor.
She knows Comey can't release anything....and she knows what's on that computer....and I believe it was the backup computer...
Doubt this has much to do with her cruddy husband. Don't forget, he is a long time politician.
Rush has been anti-Trump from the get-go! Anything, and everything, he does is a way to not help elect Trump.
They appear to be poised to disgrace themselves. If Donald plays this well and is victorious, next major election may look like GOP vs. Libertarian rather than GOP vs. Democrat.
Donald Trump is one of the great political unwashed, although pretty jolly rich.
It’s the posturing of a dictatress who is falling fast.
Keep in mind, we the Great Unwashed don’t get info in real time. I am sure Hillary and everyone in the click got an advance warning of this with plenty of time to prepare counter measures. Stuff like this may get to us 4 days or a week later than those on the Hill.
Or... this may be a shiny distraction from something that is going to come out 4 days to a week from now...
I can’t come up with any scenario in which yesterday’s announcement by Comey can somehow benefit Hillary. If anything, it will cause people to start taking a closer look at the Wikileaks revelations.
Actually he didn't "Coach" and you would do yourself a favor if you actually checked out Kim Dotcom's twitter feed..........
I think name dropping Huma and Carlos is just a red herring and that the FBI has finally contacted the NSA.......
He had Trump on his program last week and Trump will be on Savage this week.
Rush came very late to the party even knowing that this is how Reagan was treated.

I know that when it finally dropped and she heard about it, she shutdown the Wi-Fi on her plane so reporters couldn’t check. That’s why the reporters first heard about it when they landed at her rally.
I’m sure she got early warning of this. That’s why she was telling people to vote early.

I agree. IMHO, this could be a game changer, notwithstanding I think Trump is actually ahead anyway, but the FBI Director writing that letter to Congressional leadership 11 days from Election Day is a big deal....a really big deal. No way he does that unless there’s some “there” there. Way too risky for influencing the election to be anything minor. He doesn’t want to be an asterisk in election history unless it is really worth it.
Like having Trump on his show this week? Trumps phone service was spotty and Rush kept encouraging him to call back. It was a great interview and very pro Trump.
