In Georgia and Idaho, the threats have been so extreme that the secretaries of state both released statements calling for the harassment to end. But the federal law enforcement agency that should be acting to stop these threats — the U.S. Department of Justice — has not done a thing. Section 11b of the Voting Rights Act (52 U.S.C. §10307) makes it a crime for anyone to “intimidate, threaten, or coerce, or attempt to intimidate, threaten, or coerce any person for voting or attempting to vote.” While this has been applied in the past to ordinary, everyday voters in federal elections, the language does not limit it only to such voters. Electors who are casting their votes for president and vice president are also protected by Section 11b since the Electoral College is an essential part of the federal voting process. This is supported by Section 14(c) of the VRA, which says that “voting” includes “all action necessary to make a vote effective in any primary, special, or general election.” Obviously, the votes cast by Americans on Nov. 8 will not be effective if the electors they chose are intimidated from casting their votes in the Electoral College. Federal law (3 U.S.C. §7) requires electors to cast their votes on the first Monday after the second Wednesday of December, which this year is Dec. 19. These are recorded as “certificates of vote,” signed, sealed, and delivered by December 28 to the president of the Senate and the archivist of the United States (3 U.S.C. §11). Congress is required to meet on Jan. 6, 2017 in joint session to count the Electoral College votes (3 U.S.C. §15).

The ones threatened arent Democrat electoral voters.

Absolutely it is coming out of the “justice” dept. or the CIA. (Operation Mockingbird).
We are living with the most corrupt and evil government in the history of this nation.
Based on little tidbits found here and there online I believe there will many eyes present in the shadows monitoring the electors. I think the leftists will use psychological attacks not actual physical harm. They will probably mass in large groups in front of their homes with the usual protest BS. It would be a horrible thing if their transportation broke down and their access was cutoff to fast food, video games, and the comfort of the bed in their parent’s homes...: )

Hope someone is making a list! Because on January 21st, the “new” Justice Department needs to have a blueprint to start investigating, indicting, prosecuting and jailing anyone connected with this including former Justice Department employees.
Practically speaking, threats from distant urban ‘citizens’ in NYC, LA or elsewhere to some elector in flyover country don’t mean squat as a high probability of success threat.
The ones they have to worry about those from those constituents in their locales who want them to vote according to the votes on November 8.
That’s just a rhetorical question, isn’t it? We know the answer, the dems don’t care about violence directed at their political opponents, if anything, they actively encourage it.
LL is totally partisan and unfair. We will soon be rid of her.
The question then, is also: why aren't the states pursuing this ?
I hope Attorney General Sessions has time to investigate these threats.

It's same reason our violent unsafe borders were not secured for the past several decades, leaving tens of thousands of American victims who were murdered, robbed, raped, stabbed, run over, et al. It was not part of their own personal agendas. And the reason why they got their asses handed to them in this past election.☺
New AG SHOULD tell them that they will face consequences when he has power. That should put fear into them. Also what is wrong with state police going after them.?

Here in Utah the votes will be taken in the State Capitol office of the Sec. of State...
They can protest outside, but they won’t be let in, and I don’t think our Gov. will put up with very much...
