Jareds dad allegedly told a friend about the advice Rubenstein gave them to salvage their reputation.

3steps. One was to marry a certain type of person.

You would think folks would not have to spend bits on Freerepublic to point out that this his Jared’s sister doing this. While the article is attempting to slime Donald Trump and Jared Kushner, they are not doing this.

Our local newspaper included a photo of Jared and Ivanka at a State Dinner implying that this was the event in China.

Despicable yellow journalism.

I don’t care if you don’t like Jared Kushner, don’t help the mudslingers tell lies.

May I suggest you loosen that tin hat a bit.

As for your other point about DACA being revoked, you might want to resign yourself to the fact it WILL NEVER be revoked, it will probably be revised...

I know I am swimming upstream here, but do you seriously think the Trump administration or any, is going to toss people over the wall who were brought here as children by their illegal parents who are now grown up and for the most part productive people?

So lets give the House and Senate in 2018 to the democrats now and save us the trouble having them beat the crap out of Trump for the next year...

The simple and easy solution to the DACA issue is offer them a citizen path to apply within a year of turning 18 or are already an adult unless of course there are criminal or drug issues....

Those issues will of course get you deported.

DACA is an issue that falls into the realm of cutting off your nose in spite of your face...

We are real good at doing that...

“Invest $500,000 and immigrate to the United States

We sell entry into the U.S. for THAT paltry sum of money? That's not a block of four substandard apartments in any of our more rent-pressured run down urban environments.

Oh yeah, I know, with a bundle like that he could start up a green energy factory or an electric powered automobile factory.

That's not looking for investment to improve America. That's just another example of selling our birth-right at bargain basement prices.

If that investment will create a profit in dividends and increased stock prices, US citizens lose if they aren't the source of the investment money. If the investment fails, foreigners with questionable loyalties own the asset.

US FIRST!!

Has the Washington Post found some immigrants it doesn’t want?

Yes, capitalists who want to start a productive business.

I don't know whether this is a good idea at all - but, $500,000? Is that number like from 1955 or something, like one of those potential fines of $5000 for insider trading.

WOW!! I've been called a lot of things, but never ignorant. (groups I've agreed with have been called "ignorant", and they've been doing real well in elections)

Funny the Washington Post is upset when Trump’s son-in-law’s sister is involved in “selling” visas, but didn’t seem to care one bit when it was Khizr Kahn, the immigration lawyer who spoke at the Democratic Convention, who was selling visas. I guess because Kahn was selling the visas to Muslims?
Liberal hypocrisy as usual.

So your idea is to dry up any and all foreign investment in the US unless its citizens can profit from it...

Brilliant idea...

Name one country were that policy works?

Just one will do...

So let's give the House and Senate in 2018 to the dems now....

Wow, just wow. The reason the presidency, Senate, and HOR were massive victories for the 'pubs is the agenda, which is the Deplorable agenda. If traitorous 'pubs don't fulfill campaign promises OF COURSE they'll lose their majorities.

They aren't off to a good start. The HOR couldn't even vote to Repeal Obamacare when it would've counted. They're phonies who've played us way too long. With this election we gave the 'pubs in DC a lot of rope. They can either use it as a lifeline to save the nation or to hang themselves. They decide, we vote.

If memory serves, $500K only gets you a green card. I think it is now going from about $1M to about $1.8M to get citizenship. I think generally that this is a good program to help small businesses, but it has been abused a lot. Because the Obama administration looked the other way, lots of people took the money and never created the jobs. I think it is about 10 jobs for 5 years. Otherwise the company gets into big trouble.

That's to be expected. We demand a higher standard for Republicans. The hypocrisy is using the excuse "the dems do it".

If you think tossing children out of the country because of what their illegals parents did is going to KEEP our majorities, you aren't half as smart as you think you are...

It's very easy to justify tossing out criminals and felons, drug users if they are illegal...

It's real hard to justify tossing people out that they only offense was being born somewhere else and dragged here by their illegal parents...

That will not play well among the masses and the democrats know that..
