If any of the libs crowing about this are wealthy and have homes in other countries where they are allowed to stay for months, they are hypocrites.
But what we do have that no other developed country has, is that we allow visas to expire and never follow up, and we allow people who sneak in across the borders access to all our tax payer funded services without asking if they are eligible. Remember when the a/c was on and you left the window open and your mom said, "What, do you want me to pay to air condition the WHOLE WORLD?" Well, the government is now that dumb kid trying to feed, house, and school the whole world with our money.
Actually be very thankful for them. They can serve as lightning rods to direct attacks away from Trump personally. I don’t find it a problem.

If we want the best and brightest to come this is the way to do it. Who do you want in your neighborhood. Mohammed Bin Muhhamed al Mogadishu who gets 1/2 mill in welfare or Xi Yang who plunked down 1/2 a mill to live here.
Here in Seattle it is crazy with Chinese home-buyers. And of course the prices are through the roof. Something like 80% of the buyers in certain suburban neighborhoods are Chinese.

No, she is selling real estate. If you are a significant investor in the USA you qualify for a visa.
So...
THE MEDIA is spinning a LEGAL activity (selling real esate) as something illegal (selling VISA’s)
They are not the same thing, and their headline is spun in the worst light they could cast. It’s not correct, it’s not even technically correct.
If Obama’s family was ACTUALLY selling VISA’s the headline would be “Obama’s daughter promotes USA investment”
Do you see the point I am trying to get at with the media? Are do you want to get pedantic?
She is selling investments in her RE through selling them on the ability to get a visa from it. Nobody here misunderstands that.
And while on its own it is legal, she is clearly pitching the family connection to, and thus implicitly, influence on and of the president.
That is where the nepotism meets the road, because that is using political office for personal gain. And a Democrat House would be all over it among other articles of impeachment.
