Hallmark Is Now Selling Cards to Celebrate Transgender People Who Are Transitioning

There are greeting cards to celebrate and support people through all stages of life, from graduations to career changes to birthdays. But until recently, these sentimental notes haven't always included words of encouragement for transgender people or offered congratulations for a major event in their lives: transitioning. That, however, is now changing: Hallmark has started selling cards geared specifically toward the transgender community.

One in every 137 teens is transgender, according to a UCLA School of Law study published earlier this year. Due to societal stigma, trans people - and trans youth in particular - have a higher risk of depression and anxiety. But as other research suggests, this risk can be reduced if trans youth are given support and affirmation starting at an early age-and encouraging words like these are one way to provide that.

I call it, "The Barack Hussein Obama Effect". He knows exactly what he's doing to destroy America by destroying American values. It was a major point of his so-called administration; fueled by liberal idiots.

Think of the logic behind “becoming the person you’ve always been”. Obviously written by someone who is able to change mental points of view in mid-sentence, and someone who should not be writing verses for cards.

Have you seen “greeting” cards recently? So bad I’ve switched to sending “blank” cards (cards with a picture but no printed message. Not blank.). A dog pooping. A cat in a litter box. A dog’s poophole. As the the ones with a sex theme, I can’t bring myself to mention what is on them. Then there’s the “making fun of” cards, that trash old people.

If I can find a Snoopy card fine, but I mostly can’t. Mostly trash. Does this say something about a culture in which “2 1/2 men” is a popular show?

XX who feel like XY and XY who feel like XX are mentally ill and should seek professional help.

Gender dysphoria is a mental illness and should be treated as such.

Personally, I think folks with this illness have a outsized, ‘Look at me! I’m transitioning!!” attitude.

I’ve stopped buying Hallmark cards for a different reason.
They want $5, 6, 7 for a card Made in China.
No Way.

Just bought 2 greeting cards, American Greetings. About $4 and Made in USA.

Thanks for this info. You can bet I’ll never let another Hallmark card in this house and I’ll tell my friends, kids and grandkids. If my kids ever darken the door of a Hallmark store or buy one in any store, they’re out of the will........;)
