Dear "Loyal Supporter ™" Sessions. GTFO
everywhere ^ | July 25, 2017 | AAABEST

Posted on 07/25/2017 12:21:40 PM PDT by AAABEST

Who sent out the "loyal supporter" memo? It's like an army of, douchey wind-up cacklers was set upon us. Please stop.

Someone tell me what kind of "loyal supporter" Attorney General wakes up one day and recuses himself from the most high profile witch hunt in history - without even the courtesy of a SIMPLE PHONE CALL. I didn't know "Loyal Supporters" ™ made a practice of surprising their bosses in such a way.

"But Jeff was there in the beginning."

Yes - for himself. In his very pro-Trump constituency, he risked NOTHING and gained everything by backing Trump.

We have seen nothing good from Sessions or his office in 6 months. At his best he's been hapless, worst he's been highly disloyal. The only thing we know for sure is that he's going after pot-smokers.

If the president doesn't have faith in him, he should leave. Soon.

It was Rosenstein who panicked and appointed a special counsel,
He was only able to do that because Sessions recused himself and he wasted no time doing it too...How convenient.

It was Rosenstein who panicked and appointed a special counsel, all of which would have died down in a few weeks.

WRONG!!! This whole thing was a set up and Rosenstein is a rotten scoundrel. He should have NEVER appointed a SP because no crime had been uncovered!!! And STILL HASN'T!!!

One who believes in following the rule of law and does not want his participation to be a contributing factor to attacks on the President.

He has to have a decent replacement before he replaces him.

Trump is trying to use Sessions for a made up story about Russians, to protect his family I don't think they did anything wrong so don't take advantage

What complete nonsense. Sessions was reelected - UNOPPOSED - in 2014 before anyone had a clue Trump would even run for the presidency.

What is really happening is that Trump is damaging himself with a good part of his base every moment he continues this boorish, classless, childish, public crybaby act trashing Sessions over things that never should have been aired in public.

Sessions is a perfect AG.. getting rid of him would be asinine.

If Sessions were fired tomorrow, the Deputy AG who appointed the special counsel becomes the AG. It would take months for a new AG to be approved by the Senate.

How does that work out for anyone in the Trump administration? LOL.

Do not forget both Sessions and Rosenstein recommended firing Comey. Trump took what he thought was trusted advice.

Then Comey leaks to a crone who leaks to the NYT and we end up with a Special Prosecutor and no crime committed, just a witch hunt.

Comey still walking around after committing a crime, but Trump, who committed no crime, is having a vicious anal probe by RATs and GOPe.

Now, what has Sessions been up to? Going after dopers and gangs ignoring the horrible injustice being done to Trump.

Yes and good ole Jeff thinks Mueller is a saint.

I didn’t vote for Sessions to be president. He either does his job or he’s likely out. Doing his job is either put in place a SC to look into Dembot crimes, or un-recuses himself.

That’s the reality.

So then it is okay to blind side the man who picked you for the job?

Looks like the President is trying to goad the AG into being more aggressive about helping save his boss. It currently looks and feels as if Sessions isn’t lifting a finger to help.
What I don’t understand is why President Trump didn’t just pick up the phone and call and have private discussions about this very important matter instead of doing it all in public. In comprehensible to me.

Trump highly likely also talked to Sessions in private.

Well, he's either profoundly clueless or profoundly dishonest on that subject. Many people thought Ted Cruz would take the conservative votes in the South, but that didn't happen and Sessions is one of the main reasons.

That's not exactly what happened.

Sessions and Rosenstein recommended firing Comey for very specific reasons. Comey was fired, and that should have been the end of it.

President Trump got on NBC a few days later and told Lester Holt that he wanted to fire Comey anyway -- regardless of what Sessions and Rosenstein said. He even said that the whole Russia story was a factor in that decision.

He put both Sessions and Rosenstein in a very compromised position, where there was an appearance that they were complicit in the firing of the FBI director under false pretenses.

Rosenstein had no choice but to appoint a special counsel at that point.

At the end of the day, there's no disputing that President Trump did all of this to himself.

The good news is that he probably doesn't give a damn. I suspect he's even enjoying himself while all this is going on. LOL.

The Attorney General works for US and is not President Trump’s private attorney. Like it or not AG Sessions actions maintain a ‘wall’ of separation from political vendettas to the rule of law applied to one and all. AG Sessions is not permitted by law to investigate himself as a player in the Trump 2016 presidential campaign.

Want someone to blame for this political prosecution look at ‘deep state’ Congress. AG Sessions followed the law..
