A Palin endorsement has lost some luster since her endorsement of the illegal ex-RINO/Rat fusion ticket that “won” the last gubernatorial election in Alaska (I certainly hope she intends to atone for that by supporting the Republican ticket this time) but that’s still noteworthy.
Anyway, we need to see GE polling for both Tark and Heller.

Bingo! I think Mitch is going to be shocked, if he last that long as SML, if is isn’t challenged, and I am no huge fan, but Ted Cruz could do a better job. Back to my point, we are going to have pick ups in “D” states like you noted, and we may get all of the 4 rinos that will be primaried. A pick up in NJ, (Menendez goes too the Big house) and should McCain pass, we could have a temp replacement that is more conservative. Mitch could be facing a freedom-caucus of 8,10, or more if others like Cruz join that could be 20% of his votes that are Trumpians that can’t be bought. Mitch can’t handle they are not swamp creatures, he is going to have a tough time with it, he either turns his back on k-street & the COC, or resign as majority leader, I think the stress would be too much for him, he’s not liking it now....

It is a tough call, he’d have to have a non delayed trial and conviction before 1/18/18 and Christie could appoint himself, I am not touching that one. What bothers me is Mitch is saying nothing vs if this was an R seat and Harry Reid was still at the helm, you know that during special order on the cspan cameras he’d be calling for him to resign. We need the late Lee Atwater as SMJ, other than PDJT, Sarah Palin, B1-Bob, were the hell are our cage match fighters?
What do polls show him doing against likely Democrat opponents? If memory serves, Heller was already trailing. Is Tarkanian doing any better?
The Donald needs to speak out against the DAMNEd GOPers and talk up conservative challengers
These GOPers see a few of their sorry asses given the boot, maybe the others will get on board.
Menendez could serve the rest of his term from a jail cell. He would have to resign or be expelled and expulsion needs 67 votes. No way the Democrats will allow that to happen until there is a Democrat governor to appoint a replacement.
I’d be surprised if Trump endorses any of Heller’s opponents.
I think the huge difference now is that the RINO/NeverTrumper actions are impacting a very popular (with the base) SITTING PRESIDENT...and Republican primary voters are very unified in supporting the president.
During the campaign, particularly early in the campaign, Republicans opposing Trump, but supporting other Republicans (like Cruz) was acceptable.
But the campaigns are over. All that base sees are the Democrats in lock-step opposition, and a number of ‘Republicans’ giving aid and comfort to those Democrats by their votes and their words.
It’s probably too late for Flake and Heller to learn this lesson (thankfully), but for others - the bottom line is that when your party wins the White House - YOU GIVE THAT MAN THE CHANCE TO GOVERN - you don’t just join the opposition.
Its way too soon for reliable polling on that subject...but your 'concern' is noted.
