Wait until you look down below you at a 70' cliff drop and the Instructor says, "Well, you going to repel or am I going to push you?!"

YIKES! No can do. I get dizzy when cameras in the movies/shows give a drop-off view of cliffs or tall buildings.

I'm sure the answers to the quiz would be much different if we were letting our "younger self" answer, right?

I must be a risk taker, I’ve jumped from a perfectly good airplane, twice. I survived Parris Island. Was even married once, now I just have dogs.

Like many males, who reach my age (70+), we look back on things we did growing up and maybe in the military and say “Thank You, Lord!” for protecting us while we were young and stupid.

Those of us with half of a brain evolve to some risk taking and stopping a lot in our 20’s!

It is interesting and sometimes scary, when your adult children in their 30’s and 40’s share some of their daring youth with you.

My wife had Camaro Convertible, V8 with a spoiler on the back. One evening after a good dinner and after a glass of after dinner wine, my wife gets two questions from our adult sons:

1. “Were you trying to kill us by letting us drive your Camaro?”

My wife, their mother, “No! What do you mean?”

2. “Did you know at 110 mph, your Camaro, in spite of the spoiler, the rear end started to lift up?

My wife, “ Never happened at 65/70!”

I poured her and myself another glass of wine and whispered, “Just listen!, they are sharing!

We raised our kids, like we were raised, with Benign Neglect. Probably, sometimes the Benign Neglect was too Benign!

However, the end results turned out okay!
