Can demonrats vote in republican primaries there? If so that must stop
Many states have open primaries, and Alabama is one.
Childers hardly tried.
I know. Wasn’t sure about Alabama. Bad form that needs to be addressed.
Is McConnell handing out $50 bills to get Black Democrats to the polls to rig a win for Strange, as they did in the MI senatorial race to defeat the conservative? NO OPEN PRIMARIES!!!
From what I gather any Democrat who didn’t vote in the first round of their primary last month, can vote in the Republican’s runoff election this month.
Recipe for trouble.
The Democrats are helping Trump’s candidate.
Kinda like the slimy #NeverTrumpers helping Hillary.
Then Moore needs to run as the "anti-slavery" candidate.
This is an unclear statement. Trump had his reasons for supporting Strange during the primary. He has not supported him in the general election, nor has Strange’s support for McConnell’s positions in direct opposition to Trump’s statement & agenda suggested Strange is Trump’s candidate.
If you are suggesting that the Dems help for Strange will help Moore, that may be true.
The MISSISSIPPI TREATMENT redux. Made easier in Open Primary states, as MS. Texas also.
McConnell and his collaborators build that Senatorial war chest of millions to entrench incumbents and name their replacements. I recall Cruz gave $200,000 to it when doing his penance to McConnell. Cruz served as Vice Chair, or Chair during the Mississippi Treatment, giving up McDaniels for Thad Cochran, an old RINO mule.
McDaniel was the Tea Party candidate you recall, I know that and he was winning that nomination race, until Haley Barbour and Son brought in the blacks together with the multi $$$ cash.
By the grace of God, we have won Trump and a few others, in spite of the corruption and “rigged system”.
Open elections are a sham.
That’s the devil in California’s election process. The top “2” are the ballot—both Democrats.
Republicans, when they can (and they have the ability in Alabama) to end “open primaries”.
Primaries are for the party members, not any voters that are not party members. They are for the voting members of a party to choose THEIR candidate. They are not for the general public, regardless of party affiliation to choose a candidate. THEY - the voters not registered to a party, have their opportunity to vote in the general election for whichever candidates the parties have nominated to represent THEM.
Open parties are ripe for mischief of one party skewing a primary result AWAY FROM whom the majority of a party actually want. Open primaries should be done away with, every where.
Thad is so feeble that he needs a guide dog to find his way around the Capitol buildings.
Well actually it was Cochran in Mississippi
Please help Candidate Roy Moore defeat Mitch McConnells GOPe yes-man Luther Strange in the Alabama run-off election on September 26th. Roy Moore is a strongly religious, pro-life conservative. Help him defeat Mitch McConnells choice by donating to Moore at this link. https://www.roymoore.org/Support-Judge-Moore/

The rule was changed this year.....if you voted in the D primary, you cannot vote in the R runoff! Thank goodness the Republicans finally wised up and did this.
“Can demonrats vote in republican primaries there? If so that must stop”
I think the only ones prohibited from voting in the Republican runoff are those who voted in the Democrat primary.
So McConnell/Barbour/Rove/Strange can recruit voters who didn’t vote at all (Rs, Ds, Is) as well as those who voted in the Republican primary.
Ds and Is who did not vote in the Dim primary can vote in the Republican runoff.
