Hey Beachie, yeah it has cooled off substantially in the last 2 weeks.

Matter of fact, it's raining hard right now, clearing the air and hopefully helping to put out some of the remaining fires around the area.

We'll get to 80 degrees next week but Fall is in the air.

What's new with you and the books?

Good news on the rain. Let’s hope it helps put out the remaining fires.

80s will be happening here, too.

Nothing happening with the books. I’m going to start working on a couple things with marketing, and other sites where I can upload my current books. I need to update my Google stuff and my blog. Will get back to the writing in another month.

BTW, I’m almost finished the fence. Got a small portion left, but I ran out of steam and back started yelling at me to quit.

My boy has been over the past couple of days to do homework.

The new puppy is just too loud for him to concentrate at home, LOL.

But it's been fun having him here.

You must have the longest fence in the county as much time as you've spent painting. :-)

Glad that son-boy is spending extra time with you.

It feels like the fence is 5 miles long, but, in reality, I’m the only one painting and I can only go so long, and 5 hours in one day is enough. Half the fence is very rusty; plus I have to paint both sides.

The last little bit is in a corner, not noticeable, so it can wait a bit longer.
