Scalise, the House Majority Whip, returned to Capitol Hill on Thursday for the first time since June, when he took a 9mm bullet to the hip during baseball practice at an Alexandria, Va. baseball field.
"I'm back," Scalise tweeted at about 10 a.m. Thursday.
House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) reportedly became emotional when he saw his longtime colleague at the Capitol on Thursday.
The gunman, James Hodgkinson, wounded five people including Scalise during the June 14 shooting, which occurred as lawmakers practiced for the Congressional Baseball Game a day later.

Caught the episode this morning. Scalise rally looks good all things considered. By the Grace of GOD he continues to stand.

Odd the Uniparty’s Left Wing greeted him, given it was one of their own, a Bernie supporting Hillary voter, who shot the majority whip.
“He still has a lot of trouble walking. Two canes and hobbling from side to side.”
He’ll be ok in time, I trust.

Totally different injuries, so i dont know if this gives hope.
I have a 10 year old head injury that has Blown Away conventional science that the first 2 years is IT for healing.
Latest change for the better was at the 7 year mark.

I would think it’s easier to fix leg injuries (hip replacements, knee replacements, etc.) than head injuries.

It’s the HORRIFIC headaches, the waking up with tremors, the horrible insomnia (up to 60 hours at a time), the terrible tinnitus, the night terrors...and on and on all caused by damage to brain stem, thalamus, cerebellum etc.
