What Devin didn’t say is, It will take about 4 to 5 months to schedule the vote, and then OOPS!, we’re right in the middle of mid-term elections, so better to hold off until the next Congress....
He should have done this months ago, immediately after they missed the deadline! That’s why they continue to defy him. If you want to be taken seriously, you have to act seriously.

Trump needs to step in and issue a “will comply” order to executive branch employees.
He said that congress would have to vote on it. There is no way this congress would vote to impeach unless it was for Trump. DC is so corrupt and Trump stands alone.
When they don’t turn them over, Trump can fire them.

Or else what? Hold them in contempt? The Congress held AG Holder in contempt. To what end? He’s out earning millions on retainer from the State of California for the sole purpose of suing Trump.
Or else what? Nunes is going to send the Sergeant at Arms of the House to the FBI headquarters and take possession of the documents?
Or else what? Get a Federal judge to rule that the FBI has 3 years to turn over the documents? Maybe 8-10 years? That’s been perfectly fine with our *Representatives* for the past twenty years. Hillary’s stuff? It’ll take 10 years to comb through it for release. Trump’s lawyer? They’ll do a pre-dawn armed raid and kick in doors.
Or else what? They told us “no reasonable prosecutor would take the case” in the face of hundreds of thousands of felonies.

No one in the DC Swamp is our representative. The best we can hope for is they make enough money on the coasts to leave us alone in flyover country and not take more than half of what we earn as indentured servants to their system of corruption.
I’ll put my faith in God and continue not trusting some traitor in a necktie a thousand miles away to watch out for my interests.

Trump has the Constitutional authority to declassify and publicly release any document in the Executive Branch of government.
Trump is Sessions boss.
If Sessions refuses to give the document to Nunes, then Trump can just keep firing people until someone obeys.
After all the drama about redactions and the amount of document reviews, if Rosenstein and the FBI release the subpoenaed docs, they will be shown to be liars and subject to perjury charges for lying to Congress and probably obstruction of justice as well
No way Rosenstein can comply in 24 hours, even if he really, really wanted to - which he certainly does not unless he is playing a brilliant part of an insider sting operation, which is very doubtful.
The scumbags in the DOJ and FBI knew this day was coming and hoped that by slow walking long enough, they could get enough leverage on Trump with the Mueller investigation to slip the noose. Mueller is not producing and the walls are closing in on the conspiracy which is forcing the Mueller team to increasingly desperate and highly questionable and abusive legal measures
Here is one possible scenario
Rosenstein refuses to comply
The House moves to impeach and remove various FBI and DOJ members for obstruction
Sessions or Trump demotes said FBI and DOJ people and gives them a new desks right next to Page and Strozk. Rosenstein gets McCabe’s old demotion desk
IG Horowitz has the requested documents and over the last year has no doubt independently triaged and redacted them for legit classified and national security information ( this is one reason Rosenstein cannot release the docs - if he redacts info to protect the DOJ and FBI people from criminal charges it will become obvious when the IG or Congress releases the unredacted docs).
Because of DOJ/FBI stonewalling , Trump orders IG Horowitz to release all documents not containing legit classified or national security content unredacted (which will be most ) and all documents either unredacted or in redacted form
Trump uses the exposed obstruction as justification to clean house
It obvious that the IG report is about to be released and the panic and desperation on the part of the guilty is showing
Ya know, it seems like Nunes could just get a court order and bust in some doors like they did to Cohen.
