TAOS, New Mexico - The U.S. city of Albuquerque passed measures on Monday that make it harder for federal officials to deport illegal immigrants, a week after a federal judge blocked a Trump administration effort to withhold funding from cities that took such steps.

Albuquerque’s majority-Democratic council voted 6-3 in favor of a measure to prevent federal immigration officials from entering city-operated areas, including a prisoner transport center, without a warrant.

In a televised meeting, the council also barred city workers, including police, from collecting information on peoples’ immigration status and prohibited local tax dollars from being spent on federal immigration law enforcement.

And I was thinking about applying for a license to practice in New Mexico. Have to re-think that now...

Rather than addressing our rapidly increasing crime problem in Albuquerque, the new mayor and city council members would rather focus on ways to make our city LESS safe. There are already certain parts of the city that are totally unsafe to venture into.

It’s very telling how radically Democrat-Socialists have ”evolved” when it comes to the influx of illegal aliens. They’ve largely abandoned the concerns and interests of legal citizens in favor of foreign nationals, with devastating results. They are despicable.

Illegal aliens are NOT immigrants.

Immigrants are people who applied to be Americans, paid their fees, learned the language, waited their turn and complied with the laws.

Illegal aliens don’t.

Any elected official in the USA that encourages the colonization of this country should be removed from office.

To understand the scale of the illegal alien problem, 12 million illegals is equal to the combined population of Idaho, Hawaii, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Montana, Delaware, South Dakota, Alaska, North Dakota, DC, Vermont, and Wyoming.

12 million is approximately 1/3 of the actual number of illegal aliens in the USA.
It’s much worse than the Ministry of Propaganda is willing to admit.

These Democrats wear R jerseys and claim to be conservatives while supporting amnesty and open borders.

Flake, Corker, Hatch, Heller, Alexander, Graham, McCain, Murkowsky, Hoeven, Rubio, Tillis, Burr, Lankford, Gardner, Cornyn, Cochran, Collins, Sasse, Kennedy, Shelby, Ernst, Blunt, McConnell, Wicker, Portman, Isakson, Johnson, Toomey, Rounds, Thune, Gaines, Barasso and Enzi are all Bush League Republicans hell bent on making America into North Mexico

Disregard the measures and enforce anyway.

Albuquerque: Another city I’m glad I don’t live in.

or, to be grammatically correct:

Albuquerque: Another city in which I’m glad I don’t live.

Either way, glad I’m not there.

I'll have to give it some thought. I loved Albuquerque when I was out there some years ago. The zoo, the food (red & green sauce with everything). Almost made it to the Atomic Bomb Museum in Santa Fe, but the kids were puking in the back of the car (rented, luckily) so we turned around. Loved the weather there too.

What a load of crap. One stupid liberal judge can tell the president what to do. this needs to get to the Scotus right away and should be ignored until they rule on it.
