"Rule 1: No one should presume that either party is lying or telling the truth."

Incorrect! She already confirmed her own lack of credibility in many ways.

Rule 1: No one should presume that either party is lying or telling the truth.

That ship sailed a long time ago.

Rule 3: Political considerations should not enter into he said/she said decision making.

So did that one.

Alan’s from the old school where rules and laws applied.

Dersh keeps forgetting.....Clinton damaged the sacrosanct rule of law.....and Boobamba was completely lawless.

Unfortunately, Americans are left holding the judicial bag.

Berko Shitz probably lifted a few skirts in school. Took some peeks at panties after strategically dropping some pencils. What guy didn’t in school. Aren’t there some ladies out there who went to school with Schumer that could step up and claim he grabbed their head and tried to rub it on his exposed crotch at a teen party. That would stop this laughable spectacle quickly.

"The standard for proving a serious sexual allegation must be high."

Joy Behar says Bret Kanavaugh is guilty.....that is about as high as you can get with all the evidence here...at least the liberals see it that way....Hillary says he is guilty and you can sure take her word.

Dershowitz is acting like this is some kind of trial. It's not. And there are no "both sides" here. Buzzy Ford is a WITNESS in a Senate proceeding, not a party in a dispute.

And his comment about potentially redacting embarrassing information from her letter is a joke. She didn't write this to a family member. She wrote it to a U.S. Senator, and as such it should be open to Freedom of Information Act requirements.

I heard Professor Dershowitz say during the summer that he had become persona non grata on Martha's Vineyard because of his position on "collusion".

That says it all for me!

The air must be pretty thin in Dershowitz’s ivory tower. The rules are to win at any cost and by any means necessary. If they could, the Left would just dispense with all this faux search for the truth and would proceed directly to imprisoning and executing those who oppose them.

Thank God for Alan Dershowitz. He explains what our system is and why it must be preserved. Too many Americans don’t seem to understand these things. I hope at least some of them read this and remember what he teaches them. It is shocking that Ford and her lawyers want Kavanaugh to testify first!

“the evidence must prove the crime beyond a reasonable doubt”

But we already know there’s no evidence. It’s impossible. She doesn’t even know where or when this alleged event occurred, plus it’s been 36 years so the house would have been cleaned many times and probably painted many times.

There are no eye witnesses. Anyone she claims might have been there have all denied ever being there or at least have zero recollection of any event.

This is all most likely, made up BS to be a political hit job. I think this went way further than DiFi ever thought it would and they’re just making shit up as they go now.

It’s becoming very obvious grassley is willingly subverting Kavanaugh’s nomination.

Another rino rears his traitorous head.

Rule 6: No material information should be withheld from either side. Each side should have a full opportunity to examine inculpatory, exculpatory or otherwise relevant material that may have an impact on the truth-finding process. Specifically, the letter written to Senator Dianne Feinstein must be disclosed to Judge Kavanaugh and to the Senators.

That Feinstein refuses to disclose the letter tells the letter is exculpatory for Kavenaugh.

No problem with most of the content- except one question; Why must the person questioning the accuser be a female? What does that have to do with the truth? Every member of the committee has the right to ask any and all pertinent 9 (and as the left has demonstrated, impertinent) questions at will. I doubt any court would allow the accuser the onerous privilege of having a spokesperson ask all the questions before a matter at law. That is a clear violation of due process.

Regarding the condition the accuser has demanded; why would anyone agree to a hearing in which the accused is not allowed to be physically present? There is so much communicated via body language and unspoken word , demeanor and expression etc. that Kavanaugh ought to refuse to be so mistreated by “due process”. If rules of evidence, procedure and decorum are so important, why allow the one main aspect of defense to be disallowed?

I say censure the democrat senators who obstructed this proceeding from the day the allegedly received this letter (is there really a letter?) and regarding the accuser and her rather unsupported claim, let her be subject to all civil remedies available to the accused. hen she can take a slow boat to somewhere other than Australis- they won’t likely accept her as a expat wanna be Aussie- even they , as left as they are, generally respect the rule of law.

Thank you, Mr. Dershowitz.

Even though he is generally liberal in his politics, I greatly appreciate the fact Dershowitz puts the Constitution first.

There is no law or fairness in DC .

The Idiot party fell for a Hollywood coordinated PR show from
a New Lib Star.
The Dems must have plotted this with Hollywood PR execs .
Hide the New Star from the adoring Press .
Trash the victim Brent K .
Scare off anyone from defending Brent .
Thomas had defenders but not Brent .

And Destroy the basic right to defend one self in a
Soviet Style Show Trial ..

Mitch and Grassley stepped right into the trap .
Collins and Lisa K will fold like cheap lawn chairs under the
media hype .
Flake conspired with the Dems to help grant time for the Star Reveal .
