MAJOR BACKFIRE: Democrats REVOLT – Schiff And Pelosi Are Panicking
Explain Life ^ | Dec. 30, 2019 | Martin Walsh

Posted on 12/30/2019 9:21:29 AM PST by Jess Kitting

The Democratic-controlled House of Representatives committed political suicide two weeks ago and passed both articles of impeachment — obstruction of Congress and abuse of power — against President Donald Trump.

After leading the most partisan impeachment inquiry in modern American history, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is refusing to send the articles of impeachment over to Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell because she says Republicans won’t hold a “fair” trial.

But maybe Pelosi is refusing to send the articles to the upper chamber because she knows several Senate Democrats will defect and vote against the sham charges levied against the president.

As noted by Breitbart, there are at least 5 Senate Democrats in battleground states who will likely vote against impeachment:

Georgia Republican Sen. David Perdue said Thursday that a “couple” Senate Democrats will likely vote to acquit Trump during the Senate impeachment trial.

Interesting take on this. I didn't know that that many Dem senators might vote to acquit.

Couldn’t happen to a “nicer” pack of coup co-conspirators.

Schiff and possibly even Nadler have committed crimes that aren’t actually crimes until the articles are transmitted. The fraud has not actually been perpetrated until it’s official. Tribe must have realized too late that Barr could just arrest Schiff and that would be an end to all of it. I doubt Barr would do that but Tribe didn’t want to risk it.

Agreed. While possible I’d certainly take this with a big grain of salt.

Interesting take on this. I didn't know that that many Dem senators might vote to acquit.

Pelosi has allowed far left radicals from districts that aren't remotely at risk to take over the House. Even she knew impeachment was going to be a bust that the president would capitalize on.

So far, that makes it (allegedly) five democrats against, two republicans (romney, “Money Murkowski”) and a possibly wavering collins who needs dem support for reelection. Good thing mccain has moved on.

Sad that we even need to discuss acquitting President Trump of things that, even if they happened, aren't crimes.

Mitt has been neutered.

Keep your eye on Salt Lake City and the charity spending by the LDS church. Nothing happens by accident, unless you are acquainted with Hillary, Spacey, or Epstein. /s

You need 67 votes to convict. That would mean every Democrat + about 20 Republicans.

Could she be refusing to send the articles because Ruth Ginseburg life on this earth is coming to an end. When it does she will send it to the Senate in slowing down the process of appointing another Supreme Court Justice.

We were in SLC a couple weeks ago, for a week. It is quite the hot topic, and seems that some LDS are stopping with their tithing, until the situation is investigated, and details are released.

Probably some atonement by the “church” will be appropriate.
