Only quarantined for 3 days? China has quarantined 50 to 60 million people until this threat is understood or contained.
What Yahoo came up with only a 3 day quarantine here?! More then alarming.
Also, if you wanted to start an epidemic or a pandemic, send people who may have been exposed to New York or California.
California it is.
Thank you.
Short drive to “Corona”. You can’t make this stuff up.
I have not heard anything about the tourists in China. Are they all gone?
What happened to all the tourists from around the world? Did they all get out?
If the incubation period is 2 weeks, that wouldn’t be good.
Found this in some research.
“...What of Today?
Our current concerns about possible terrorist-induced epidemic, or another SARS-like outbreak, throw the experience of Mare Island Navy Yard and Vallejo into high relief. A very contagious, virulent virus could produce so large a volume of illness so quickly as to overwhelm local medical capabilities.
In California there is “no specific authority” for public health officials to “deputize” or otherwise organize local medical personnel to respond to an emergency. While quarantine can be ordered with judicial approval, medical response to a public health emergency is [still] based on a “gentleperson’s agreement” among the various parties.20 Country health officials and local hospitals work together developing action plans to be instituted in the event of a large public contagion.
Clearly, there could be a large role for military medicine in some future contagion. This would call for civilian-military contingency planning for such an eventuality. Strategies for a public health response and for the management of large numbers of very sick people must be put in place now.”

Do you know what has happened to all the tourists who were in China? I haven’t heard anything about tourists.

I like that Americans were rescued - kind of like rescuing our people from behind enemy lines.
Obviously, there are risks with such a rescue, and it needs to be done right.
But all-in-all, I like it - it seems like something President Trump would do, whereas Obama would just leave them there to die.

Actually, I was thinking more along the lines of somewhere on the Aleutian Islands.
Not trying to be mean to the passengers. I’m just thinking of the safety of the rest of us.
Which means that someone did his homework and made a really good choice as to where to refuel while causing minimal disruption and allowing for maximum precaution.
Cleaning likely works, but if it doesn’t the problem will likely not only remain in the clothes, but be passed onto whatever clothes go through next.
On the KISS principle, burning the clothes makes tremendous sense.
I liked the idea of burning the plane as well.
So it Begins, the Seed has landed in the USA.
