It's funny because Bloomberg actually saved black lives, by continuing and improving on Rudy's policies. Instead of apologizing, he should have turned the argument around, which may have even boosted his poll numbers among white middle-class voters.
But he fell into identity politics and now Trump is making him pay by using Alinsky's Rules against him.

If this isn't a finalist for AP photo of the year. Sam Levine at The Guardian caught this by dumb luck, but the framing was incomparable.
Look at the other photographer between the pews in some kind of shock; look at the stoicism (and perhaps respect) by the 2 Whoopies behind the stans; and then the stans themselves, the young ratchet signaling 'we ain't havin you, doomberg.', but most poignant, the framing of mini-Doomberg barely apparent outside the young man's elbow.
Hang on while I clear my throat.

HOORAY Americans. Is that OK under the GOVERNMENT’S FREE SPEECH EDICTS? How about the likeness of his severed bloody head for comedic relief?

Bloomie's whole strategy is for the Democrats to have a contested convention and to get the nomination by screwing Bernie out of it, followed by Bloomie buying it. His biggest problem is he just can't appeal to the Afro-American voters, as shown by this spectacle, something that might not even happen to DJT, Jr., since anything he might say would be in good faith. Now the Demoncrat nomenclatura is faced with the horrible problem of Bloomie's hopeless inability to appeal to the most vital part of their coalition, meaning Bloomie's likely to be disqualified, leaving them to Sleepy Ol' Joe or Bernie. Nevertheless, they'll screw Bernie out of the nomination, leaving the Berners to try to burn Milwaukee down. Jeff Bezos must be rolling on the floor in greedy anticipation of what this will do for Amazon's popcorn sales.

Very nice! But if they weren’t in the front row he probably couldn’t see them.

I wonder if Mike is finally understanding that he is hated by all Americans, regardless of race, creed or color.

Elitist snob asshat Bloomberg has no business trying to talk to regular people anyway. Let him go address his buddies in the deep swamp.

“But his speech was rambling & you can tell he wasn’t connecting in general. “
Why is he giving a campaign speech at a Sunday Worship Service? Last time we did anything political in our church buildings, not Sunday Worship, we were told that we cannot do it and keep our tax exempt status.
Also, why would any minister divert part of the time set aside for Christ to be used by politicians?

I’d probably skip that service if a politician was giving a speech , thats not why I go to Church (even if it was someone I agreed with). The guy isn’t even Christian, not sure why he would even go there.

I always thought it was illegal to stump political in a church.

Just out of curiosity, FReepers, how many of you have had politicians speak in your church? I don’t mean to rent the space, but to actually speak to the congregation on a Sunday morning. Nothing like this ever happens in my church.

A dirty secret is that many Black folks really don’t like Jews and they positively detest really wealthy Jews.

I have attended a local AME church, and I really enjoyed it.
My girlfriend and I were the only non-black attendees, but we felt comfortable with everyone we met.
I would have zero hangups with attending an otherwise all black conservative church. Race is only a color and hearts among believers are all beautiful.
