NFL legend and Heisman Trophy winner Herschel Walker responded to the growing tensions across the country by appealing to the Bible, stressing the power of forgiveness and asking, “Why are we penalizing people for what their ancestors did?”

“I was reading the greatest book ever written, the Bible, and I read ‘But if you don’t forgive others, your Father will not forgive your offenses.’ – Matthew 6:15,” the NFL great wrote, appealing to the words of Jesus.

“Why are we penalizing people for what their ancestors did?” he asked. “Forgiveness doesn’t mean you get something in return.”

Thank you Mr. Walker. Which blm poofter is gonna be the first to stand up to Mr. Walker? Recently he offered air fare to the destination of a persons choice that they find better than 'existing' in this TWSH! Takers? Didn't think so.

Well, he is right. But if we are going after the ancestors of slaves, we better find Kunta Kinte’s African slavers that caught him and get $ from their ancestors.

Even penalizing people for things nobody related to them did simply because they’re white.

Or didn’t do.

On my mom’s side at least, my ancestors didn’t come to the US until the late 1880s. And they grew wheat, not cotton, and picked it themselves.

What if our founding fathers could judge us? What would they think about killing millions of unborn children in exchange for trivial orgasms with strangers. What would they think about our governments stealing the labor of its citizens. What would they think about all of those rainbow flags? I think we have far more to be ashamed us than them

What simple wisdom. Why are we fighting over the past? Where is the outrage over blacks dying in the womb or slavery around the world today?

“Forgiveness doesn’t mean you get something in return.”

Herschel is one of the few voices of reason in the football community and in general. However, I have to disagree about forgiveness doesn't mean you get something in return. Maybe he implied that you don't get anything in return from the one you forgive, but you certainly do get something in return. A huge burden from your mind and soul is removed when you forgive. All the negativity is removed and it makes room for the Holy Spirit to fill you. (Something I often battle.)

Don’t anyone dare mention that the muzzies of the Middle East and Africa continue to take and sell slaves to this day. Where are those over 200 women that went missing during Obammy’s time at now? Remember how they were kidnapped and taken away? What happened to them Mr. Ex-Illegal-prez?? Your mamawife cried for a whole day and then shut her fat mouth! Where are they, the Boko Harum sold them off as slaves. But, lets not mention that!

Can I get reparations for the time my ancestors were enslaved by the Romans, the Muslims, the Vikings, the Saxons, the well, never mind. The English people were the most thoroughly worked over people in history. That’s why the decedents fight so bloodily minded. Including amongst themselves.

I’ve tried to read English history but getting pillaged, murdersd, raped, and enslaved for most of a history gets tedious.

I only had one ancestor here prior to 1900 and he fought for the union in the civil war. The rest were just hungry Irish looking for a better life. The country did well by them.

Clearly not woke enough!

The Bible is all racism!

In all seriousness though, its really a battle of religions.

“Wokeness” implies a change in ones world view, which is religion language (Conversion anyone?) In fact, Metanoia (Greek for Conversion) serves a similar connotive meaning that “woke” does today. But if you start calling leftism a religion they start calling you nasty names.

For what *some* people’s ancestors did. Other people’s ancestors murdered people for the purpose of eating their flesh.

For some reason makes wonder what Jim Brown would say. Or Ali. I don’t care for Malcolm X. But I am guessing this isn’t what he had in mind. Making white people the source of all power?

It is called warfare and war is fought against one’s enemies to make them submit. That is what leftists democrats are doing and have been doing for 100+ years. They want to totally dominate and anyone who votes for a democrat is part of the democrat army.

I think he has said something similar in past- Good to see folks like him taking a stand assistant the new racists-

[[“Forgiveness doesn’t mean you get something in return.”]]

I would just like to remind him though that the black community did get something- White folks, over 600,000 of them, died to free them from slave owners-

Walker is not only a stand-up guy, he is an absolute physical freak of nature. Maybe only Bo Jackson beats him in the freak-of-nature department. Walker’s workouts are legendary and pushing 50 years old, he looks like he can still compete in the NFL.

It’s an old lawyer trick.

Find a grievance, locate all the peripheral connections to said grievance, then focus your resources on the ones with the deepest pockets.
