I am so deeply saddened by this news. Our thoughts and prayers to him and his family.

He was the only one I listened to on the radio. He knew a lot.

This is very sad.
He made me think and learn about politics, government, civics. He made me question the âfactsâ I took from the American media I could get my hands on, the Herald Tribune, international Newsweek, and CNN international. I didnât realize there were other ways to see the same situation while in the only one opinion permitted media.
And he was funny.
I learned later how he was so funny. He âborrowedâ jokes from this site. At least three times he took my lines from here and used them as his own. I chose to feel flattered.
There was a time when I did break up with him but he was a force for understanding conservatism and respect for the foundersâ intent to help all Americans have and hold freedom. He was never anything his critics called him: racist or full of hate. I only have awe and respect for all of us he taught and influenced and most of all how he saved talk radio and made it exciting and fun again. He deserved every penny he earned.
Godspeed and Rest In Peace, Rush.

As one online comedian noted: Day 85 of December 2020. I already said something, but I will miss Rush very much.
Very few people had more influence on my conservative views the way Rush did. I can not even express how much this hurts.
