Somehow this hits me as hard as any death I have experienced including my own parents. I am an old man, I seldom cry like this.
His voice and words actually comforted me through many difficult days and I am grateful to him for that.
There are few people I respect and damn few I admire. I admired Rush for his courage, his spirit, his wisdom, his energy. He never lost because he never quit. He was a Patriot, a Great American and a Great Man.
“Talent on loan from God.” Who will it go to next?

A great lose for us but he is with his Savior as he professed Jesus and sought the forgiveness He offers. I can’t help but think in some way that this is laced with grace as Rush will not have to watch the further destruction of the nation he loved so much. You have run the race Rush. Oh my God. I’m devastated. I just left the restaurant and tuned in and heard him! I was so excited and thought he was feeling good. I had no idea it was old broadcasts.
