No American should watch the NFL.
One of the reasons Flores sued the NFL was that he accused them of having “fake” interviews in order to fulfill the old Rooney Rule. Now, the NFL teams will simply add “fake” jobs, where they will get paid, half by the club and half by the league. Unless this person is actually hired because of their skills (as Flores was in Miami), they won’t really have much input in team operations. It’s like a family business who has a worthless relative on the payroll.

Maybe they can hire a bunch of Asian tiger moms to be assistant kicking coaches: "You only practice kicking six hours today? Is your leg tired? A Burmese soccer player practices sixteen hours per day for one bowl of rice. And he kicks balls in meters, not tiny American yards. You no Adam Vinatieri."

I’m cool with that. Make that coach wear a “Diversity” sweatshirt so that we all know why they are on the sideline. Let’s not pretend that they will actually be allowed to ‘coach’.
It would be hilarious to see one of the assistant offensive coaches take one for the team and declare himself a woman.
The Chief’s offensive coordinator is Black, Eric Bieniemy, so I think we’re covered.

1. There currently are enough qualified "diverse" candidates, but the teams / the team management are RACIST, and have been unfairly discriminating against such equally qualified candidates.
2. The pool of potential qualified candidates is too small - probably because members of "diverse" groups aren't smart or motivated enough - which is a RACIST assumption.

If I was a team owner I’d tell the NFL it’s impossible to follow their new mandate without being both a biologist (male or female) or anthropologist (ethnicity).
Hypothetical: Let’s say we have a dispute between a star minority player and a white NFL coach. A real ‘He said, he said’ and it’s getting acrimonious. The NFL commissioner wants to get to the bottom of what is going on... who does he call? That’s right... he calls the diversity coach. He/she doesn’t really work for the Team... his/her salary is paid by the league. See where this is going? You have a paid spy working on your coaching staff. I should say ‘occupying space’ on your coaching staff because they would actually be allowed to do anything.
You don’t even have to do that... just pull a ‘Lia Thomas’. Instant minority.
I'll worry about this when only 12-15% Players are Black.
