The article seems mostly as a description why he was qualified to be over there and of his overall experience while assisting the Ukrainians. Good information, but not fully matching the headline.

Recently I spoke with a Marine. He hates Trump. WTF. Has a poster of that Mattis up in his apartment. Mattis who was the first general in my knowledge to criticize the CIC. This Marine said Mattis was out of the military when he said these things. Eh… Mattis was hired because he was a Marine general and of course once a Marine always a Marine.
