If they have smart phones, they can be tracked to within 10 feet, less if they also attach to a wifi access point.
Also complete bread crumb trails.

1) I bet they originated the requirement for geo-tagged photos because the phones somehow become "untrackable".
2) I bet no one sends in geo-tagged photos.
3) This is just free stuff because "why not?"
ICE continues to give aid and comfort to the domestic and foreign enemies of the United States.
Illegal immigrants need to be rounded up and immediately deported, not given smartphones and be released into our USA as they rarely show up later to go before an immigration court. Even those that seem to have a real issue on claiming sanctuary should be not released right away.

Well, at least it isn’t $89.5 billion like we spent in Ukraine.
I find it laughable when considering all the problems we have here at home, and the trillions of $ we give the rest of the world, maybe we should keep that money. Don’t give anybody a single dollar for at least 10 years and distribute it amongst our citizens instead. (no government programs). Just distribute it directly. I guarantee our economy would boom, homelessness would drop dramatically, and our standard of living would skyrocket.

If, and that’s a big IF, they are used to geo track. If they don’t, I am not sure what the response can be, though.

Saw a news item this morning showing many illegals who’d crossed the border into Texas. Everyone carried a goody bag held by a drawstring. Wondered what was in the goody bags. I guess a cell phone is part of the answer.
Mine is old and scratched. The battery doesn’t last long. I’m going to Mexico and will sneak into the USA so I’ll get a new phone.

I caught a flight from San Diego to Charleston a few weeks back. Fully 1/4 of the passengers were “new looking” immigrants with red folders full of paper work and new smart phones. All 20-40 year old males.
They should plant chips in them and keep track of their social score. Oh wait, that’s us.
