Store clerks have legal options when someone shoplifts. Teaming up to brutally beat the thief isn’t one of them. No wonder two 7-11 clerks in Stockton who battered a would-be shoplifter with a wooden rod are being investigated by police, as reported on TV news. Although brazen stealing is frustrating, costly and dangerous to store employees, confronting it with violence that far exceeds self-defense is not the answer.

He was on the side of black people in the struggle for voting rights in the 1960s.
We would say the urban environment of coddling criminals and keeping quiet about the rage people feel at being victimized daily was partly caused by license.
Another story. Poet and activist Allen Ginsberg when he was old and increasingly frail was followed and then attacked by teens in New York City. He grew more alarmed when they pushed him down into a basement access area below the sidewalk “so no one could see us and they could do anything they wanted to me.” They hurt his “sore ankle” where he had needed surgery and roughed him up. As a nonviolent and now helpless Buddhist he prayed for them.
He was one of the witnesses on behalf of LeRoi Jones (Muslim name adopted Amiri Baraka) for a gun violation trial.
Wikipedia lines on him:
Baraka’s work has been criticized for being racist, homophobic, antisemitic and misogynist among others.
Baraka and his writings emanated extreme and hostile anti-white sentiment. He viewed blacks as morally superior to whites, who he believed were innately evil.
He kept reaching into his back pocket. He also challenged them that they could not do anything about it. What else could they do but show him they could.
Anyone with financial problems should rob Modesto Bee employees at gunpoint. After a while they will see.
“Although brazen stealing is frustrating, costly and dangerous to store employees, confronting it with violence that far exceeds self-defense is not the answer.”
Who is this person to decide what “exceeds self-defense”? Thugs don’t necessarily let the victim know in advance how far they plan to go with their actions. Just enough to get away? Or enough to leave you disabled or dead?
OF COURSE the police are investigating the victims of the crime........you’re in Bidenland
With all due disrespect, the Bee is wrong. The shopkeepers did the right thing and should have done more. Since the “law” does nothing, the citizens had the right to protect their lives and property.
The politicians want more of this kind of theft. It’s a down payment on the plan to turn over all the legitimate assets of this country to lazy, worthless, criminal slobs who blame all their failures on the hard-working productive people.
One banana for every blue city.
They are suffering from a crainial-rectal inversion.
That was the most disgusting, craven editorial I have ever seen. It is fully emblematic of the problem. Dox the editorialists so thwt Tyrone and D'Quavious can come and help themselves.
To the premise that the clerks went too far, I say B. S.! The poor, mentally-ill thief got the ass-whuppin’ he deserved!
“Those two men are heroes.”
Yes. They should be given a huge parade!
The police should be leading the parade effort, not investigating them.
(he said he thought “Hey, guys, I was always on your side. I was always for you guys.”)
Reality is a harsh mistress.
“Should have beat the POS to death then been given keys to the city.”
Best comment of today!!!!!!!!!!!
Excellent observation.
And thieves have a legal option to not steal.
One consequence of not exercising that option should be an ass whooping, which is something their fathers obviously forgot to do. Amount other things, like not running around siring bastard children all over the place.
Yep
That’s how you bring in a New World Order
It’s happening in every Western country it seems. Invasion of illegals; same idea.
When I’m back on the PC in a couple of days I’ll post some other content
If a half dozen store owners shoot shoplifters and outline the body with tape, the ferals will get the message.
