“Nobody was attacking them or threatening to.”

Well, except Russia, who keeps regularly invading their former slave states that are now free, trying to re-enslave them.

“Furthermore, we are hell bent on placing missiles in Ukraine to menace Moscow from 6 minutes away”

We have missiles in Poland, Estonia, Finland, Latvia, Lithuania, Romania, and aboard USN ships in the Baltic. We do not need to base missiles in Ukraine to obliterate Moscow if Moscow ever needs obliteration.

“We broke that second part 106 years ago by entering WW 1.”

Nope.

Germany made plans to attack the USA in order to force the US to surrender the islands and territories we had recently seized from the Spanish.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Imperial_German_plans_for_the_invasion_of_the_United_States

These plans were not kept entirely secret because the Germans wanted to intimidate the US into surrendering the desired territories.

The result was the US was not entirely enamored of Germany going into WW1. And then add the ill fated Zimmerman cable and the die was cast.

You make a fair point. The Kaiser’s Germany was poking the United States with submarine warfare, and with the Zimmerman affair. Nevertheless, the United States did not have to get involved. There was no Pearl Harbor moment that absolutely forced our hand.

However…I will admit that I might be biased in my analysis here, due to my overall disgust with Woodrow Wilson.

Because the Brits were choking off the Germans with their Naval Blockade. The US should have demanded access to German ports, at least that's what a real neutral would have done. But of course, neutrality was always a sham.

Indeed.
The ivory tower in the Kremlin is run by lawless gangsters (FSB / KGB). It’s a deep-state institution abusing its own people and is therefore despised by Russian citizens.
That’s why Alexei Navalny was so popular, he is the Russian version of Trump - and that’s why the Russian deep-state sent him to prison to rot. The deep-state in America is trying to do the same with Trump.

Anyway, Ukraine got rid of all their massive stocks of nuclear ballistic missiles, transferring it all to Russia.

In return and according to the written Budapest Memorandum agreement, Russia and America were supposed to protect Ukrain’s sovereignty in case the Kremlin would one day decide to attack it... Which it did in 2014 by invading Crimea and Donbass. Then again in 2022 when Russia thought it could swallow whole of Ukraine. Luckily Russia failed miserably in that latest attempt, and it humiliated her beyond recovery for next decades.

Russia raped the Budapest Memorandum.
And Obama, once again, was too afraid to react. He sent blankets to Ukraine.

We had to wait for a true conservative (Trump) to run the White House to finally see massive shipments of high-tech weaponry to Ukraine in order to contain Russia’s neo-soviet imperialistic ambitions. Trump acted in accordance to Americas Budapest Memorandum. He got heavily involved in Ukraine. Without Trump, Kiev would have been stolen by the Kremlinists.

Thus, those who want to ignore Ukraine today are typical Obama policy lovers. Let that sink in...

Beyond the Budapest Memorandum we ALSO (!) have this agreement with Ukraine, signed by the America in 2008:
It’s a truly powerful agreement:

U.S.-Ukraine Charter on Strategic Partnership

Nicaragua is a sovereign country and if they want Ruzzians in their country then that’s their business.

The US might want to let the people in Managua know that if the US and Ruzzia go to war that everyone in Managua will need to bust out their 100,000,000,000 SPF sunscreen because they’re going to need it!

Woodrow Wilson did more damage to this country than any other President.
