My family lost everything in the War of Northern Aggression, but it's time to lay all of the animosity aside.

I agree. My ancestors tried to confiscate what the Confederates considered their "property" (i.e. slaves), but Osama bin Laden and the Taliban make Mosby and his Raiders look like boy scouts by comparison. I say we call a truce between the Blues and the Grays while we go after the guys with the black turbans.

But as soon as this War's over we can go back to debating what happened 140 years ago. (By the way, I bet it does bother you guys somewhat that we're backing the North in this War.)

We (native Southerners) for the most part HAVE laid the animosity aside, and long ago. It's the damn Jesse Jackasses, Al Sharptons, NAACP types, and their sycophantic liberal sh**head white sympathizers who keep dredging up ill will with their boycotts, etc.

Funny, when I was growing up in Kentucky not that long ago, my black friends and classmates weren't "offended" by the Confederate battle flag. It's been only since Jackass and the criminal Communist mainstream news media MADE it an issue that people have become "offended".

This has gone on long enough. Want to see an otherwise rational and intelligent Southern man turn into a complete redneck? Tell me to take down my flag, then stand back!
