Even though one of the suspects is clearly a Muslim based on his name alone, not a single mention of the fact that he is a Muslim has been made on any sort of media so far as I can tell. I think the race of the suspects is a factor in the media downplaying too.

Sounds like he might have been a prison convert. The imams have been going in to prisons for years, recruiting Black men by feeding their hatred for 'whitey'. The Black Muslims look upon their religion as repudiating everything 'Western', and separating them completely from the white man. It will be interesting to see how this plays out.

A judge has ruled that Davis proved the resemblance.

Once he pretended that he could swim in the water and eat fish just as the Otter did, and when the others told him to prove it he fixed up a plan so that the Otter himself was deceived.
