Where is the coffee? LOL.
Here's the cup, coffee's almost done.
We have found that cutting bright yellow rectangle tablecloths into strips & making large bows works well.
They can be made larger than most store bought bows, cost less (about $1.00 per tablecloth creates 5 large bows) and are waterproof!
That's a beautiful picture with the Pledge! Yellow ribbons are everywhere in my part of Florida!
Thanks. That is a Thomas Kinkade painting, I added the yellow ribbon. Don't know how he would feel about me adding to his painting, but I know he is very patriotic........hopefully, he wouldn't mind.
You mentioned a couple days ago about using yellow tablecloths for ribbons - what a great idea! Even though I haven't seen a lot of yellow ribbons around here, I searched everywhere and couldn't find any in the stores. I found a yellow tablecloth at the dollar store...........works great! I also used your suggestion of stapling it to the tree to keep the bow standing up straight. I'll go out and take a picture of the one we have on our crepe myrtle tree and post it on the thread later today.
Have a nice weekend. :-)
I heard you have a nasty head cold. Hope you get to feeling better real soon.
Get well (((((((((((hugs))))))))))))) to you!
Glad I got a chance to say hello this morning before my son does a wipe and re-load on my computer. I will be out of communication while he installs Windows XP for me. He assures me that this system will solve a lot of the little annoying problems that I have been having with my computer. :-)
Yes! I will have him do that........thanks for the reminder. He fixed it awhile back, but then I downloaded RealPlayer and I think it is conflicting with Media Player. I don't know. I think if I would leave well enough alone I wouldn't have these problems. LOL.
